Hi. I'm currently running 1 kicker L7 and I'm thinking about what I should do with my extra amp. Its a 500 watt mono block kicker amp and I'm trying to decide if I should hook it up or not. I really don't need to b/c my L7 is very nice but I'm kinda getting bored with it, need some more power I guess haha. I'm wondering if I should buy another single sub and run the 500watts to that or if I should put the mono block on my components in the front. Idk, wat do u guys think? My L7 puts out plenty so I guess I'm just wondering if adding a sub running less power will even do anything for me. Idk wat r ur thoughts?

I know I am prolly the only person in the world who is not on it but I'm wondering if I should join myspace or facebook? There are millions of ppl on them but I'm not really into takin pics and posting them on the web and stuff. If I do join, should I use my real info? I'm all paranoid and stuff which is why I asked. OK so in your personal opin, what do CAPS do for your audio system? I know the answer but I gotta prove this guy SOUNDFREQ wrong (THATS RIGHT I'M PUTTING YOU ON BLAST). Now why would you use a CAP in your audio system? Please state you answer and give details on why you think that you should use one. Also can someone please tell this guy what powers EVERYTHING electrical in your car once it is started!!! Please provide specific explanations i.e. "It will help control your voltage drops". Sorry to drag yall into this but some people gotta learn.

OK So I know what an amp does and I know how to choose one and etc... I recently heard one of my install guys say that an amp can produce more watts that what it states. I have the Kicker ZX300.1 and it is rated at 300watts @ 2 ohm's and 150watts @ 4 ohm's. Now how is it possible for an amp to produce more than what it states it can? I know that at 2 ohms 300watts is the min that it will put out (because it it CEA 2006 certified) but how can I find out the actual number it will produce? I currently have the Kicker Comps (entry level 150watts rms) and I was thinking about stepping up to the CVR's (400watt rms). I tried out my ZX300.1 amp with the Kicker CVR's and they seem to hit harder. Both are 12 and I was running the same wiring and amp radio and everything but why is it that CVR's hit harder than the Comps (besides the lower frequency rating)?

Does anyone know if the audiophile 6 disk radio has an AUX port on the back? There is an option for AUX but I can't find the AUX input. Does anyone know where it is? 2005 Five Hundred Ltd. Also I want to get a model of my car I hope diecast metal. Does anyone know where I can get the model from? I want to add a chrome grill and some nice chrome acessories to my car anyone know a good website or something? Thanks for all the help

OK so I have a 96 monte carlo 3.4 engine automatic tranny. When I reach about 55mph the car changes to 4th gear. But it stutters. Like it not getting enough fuel or something. My check engine light has been on for a while and I took it to AutoZone for the code readouts and I got a misfire and a tranny code. I spoke with several Tranny guys and they told me that b/c of the mileage on my car (143,000) that doing a tranny flush would be bad b/c of reason's I didn't understand. They told me to just change the bottom three quarts in the pan and the filter. I just got a tune up (spark plugs wires fuel filter and distibution caps) about 4 months ago or so. I spoke with my mechanic but he said since its not running like it misfiring that I could bring it in and he would take a look at it. Now I dont wanna take a day off work to get my car looked at and find out there is nothing wrong with it. Can anyone help me figure out what I should do?Gonna change the tranny fuield. What else should I do?

Is it possible to crack the intake manifold on 96 Chevy Monte Carlo. I know its possible but is it possible that this would happen if I blew a hole in the hose that connects the radiator to the engine block??? I replaced the hose and it was still steaming/smoking. Then I pushed the hose up even future on the housing and it stopped smoking/steaming as bad, but it still smokes. It looks like its coming from somewhere around the manifold so I was wondering is it possible that this may have happened? Also I found a replaced thermstat housing for like 13.00 bucks. I thought this was really cheap but it has everything that it should except the gasket. I'm thinking bout replacing this as well just to be safe. I have a 96 monte Carlo 3.4 V-6 and the hose that connects the radiator to the engine busted. I replaced the hose with one I got from autozone but it still smokes. I thought that it wasn't on tight so I pulled it up all the way and replaced the clamp on it. It stopped smokking so bad but it still smokes. I noticed that a small part right underneath the hose looked like smoke was comming from it. I have no clue what this part is and I know a lil about cars. I have no clue what I should do. I know a lil about engines as a whole but I can't figure out what is wrong. I checked all the clamps, all the wires, all the fluids and I have no clue what to do. Everything is on and everthing has fluid in it. (the kind thats suppose to be in it). I thought that may have been some extra collant from when the hose busted but I let the car run for like an hour and the temp gauge didn't move (as usual) and the car still smoked If anyone has any CLUE what is going on plz plz plz help me.

I took my car to Autozone and had the guy check my charging system. My Batt. and altanator are both good. and my charge back wire (the wire that keeps the batt charged) is good to. I have no clue what I should do. I was told by my amp company's tech support that I dont need a CAP b/c I only have 300 watts peak power on my amp. WHAT SHOULD I DO? I called a chevy dealer and spoke with tech support and the guy told me that I could get any kind of altanator it doesn't have to specified for my car and use it as long as my voltage regulator is still set right, is this true? I had my system (2 kicker comp 12 and 1 300watt kicker ZX3001) amp installed at Circuit City and they tell me that I should let them install new charge back wire and neg bat terminal wire. Is this true or do they just want more money from me? If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. I dont have much money but my lights are dimming and I can't afford another ticket lol. Any ideas or advice would help thx

I checked the kicker website and they say for a vented box I need atleast 2.2 cubic feet inside. Now how in the hell do I build this box but still have room in my trunk to put atleast a tool box and a full size jack? Any ideas? I want a vented box over a sealed b/c I wanna be able to get that special quake (thump) that only a vented box will give you. If anyone has any ideas or website suggestions or anything, Please let me know I need to have this box finished by Sat. "I hope" lol Any help would be great thanks
