Good day, fine internet! Two problems.

1. A DVD+R disc is stuck inside my mac laptop. It can't be ejected with the eject button, and an icon never showed up on the desktop.

2. This particular Magnavox DVD+R and every other one of that type/brand I've burned recently (using a Windows laptop and Infrarecorder) seem not to be able to be correctly read by any computers in this house. When they didn't work I just pulled them out of my desktop and the laptop when testing, but one of them got stuck in the mac.

How do I remove the disk from my mac?

How do I get these other burned disks to work? I put a lot of personal data on them that I kind of need.

That is, when they become eunuchs well after puberty. If it's a really hairy guy, would he continue to be hairy?

I'm doing research!

Oh yeah, also, would it still be possible for one to have a crazy libido afterward? (I hear that with hormone replacement therapy, maybe)

Specifically, if there's any kind of particular hookup (brand/type) I should buy to start setting uo my dual monitor environment. Just makin' sure.

The OS is Windows XP.

The CRT is a Compaq 7550. The LCD is a Starlogic MT5BKK.

Seriously, I never change the settings; I just want it to stay centered. Every so often I'll notice that the sound is off, then I look at the Sound settings and see that the balance is randomly to the right or left.

This may be a slightly silly question, as I can probably go to some website out there and play pieces by Beethoven or Bach or anybody else to identify their names. But before the modern wonder of the internet, how did you find out?

I guess I have this issue of recognizing classical pieces by their sound but not knowing their individual names because I discovered a lot of them through old cartoons.

I don't use Word on either of my systems. I just use things like WordPad, Notepad, TextEdit, Bean, etc. No matter what, the formatting is fine when I bring files from my PC to Mac, but messes up in a very inconvenient and unfixable (without removing ALL text formatting) way when I bring mac-created RTF files back to my PC.

Sometimes even text files from mac mess up, displaying without any returns when opened on my PC. Makes me sad. If there's any way to get around any of these problems I'd like to know - thanks!
