yesterday me and my friend were driving around after football practice and my friend forgot to turn his headlights on,so the cops pulled us over. when they pulled us over one cop started taking my friends information. but then another cop came up to me and started asking me why i was so nervous. i said i wasnt and he kept saying yes you are i can tell by your breathing.he kept asking and i kept saying i wasnt. then he told me to step out of the car. and he started asking me if i was drinking or smoking weed. and i said no i dont do that stuff wich i really dont. then he started patting me down looking for stuff. and all he found was chewing tobacco. im a minor by the way. then he told me to get back in the car and he said im gonna cut you a break on the tobacco kid and not take you to juvenile. they also asked for my social security number. i am just wondering if any of this is illegal? and could they really have taken me to jail for tobacco?
