  • Should I Withdraw Now? or Wait?

I have had two interviews with a law firm and believe they are very interested. They told me it's likely I'll be called for a third interview shortly. However, I've since decided I am no longer interested in the job and would turn it down if offered.

I'm wondering if I should contact them now and let them know I'm withdrawing from consideration.

I don't want to be presumptuous and assume they are going to call me for a 3rd interview or make me an offer. But, on the other hand, I don't want to waste their time.

    Any thoughts?

  • What Name Should I Give My New Dog?

We just got a new dog today. The rescue/adoption place told us that the dog had no name when they took her in and we could give her any name we liked. Of course, we are now drawing a total blank. Any suggestions? She is a female flat-coated retriever appx 50 pounds.

  • Acquiring a Car Via "Lease Swapping"?

I am thinking of getting a car by "lease swapping" (through either swap-a-lease or lease trader). Does anyone have any thoughts on the pros or cons of using either of these services. More importantly, I'd be interested to hear any thoughts on what to be aware of as the acquirer of someone else's lease

  • Is the Ruger LCP (.380 caliber) a good home self-defense pistol?

I currently have a Sig P226 but the wife is on the petite side and has a hard time pulling the slide on the Sig. I've been looking for something for her to handle if the need ever arose. I know the Ruger LCP is being marketed as a concealed carry weapon, but was wondering how it might be for strictly home use. Any comments on the .380's stopping power would be appreciated as well.

This is from my favorite part of one of my favorite books. Can you identify it?

    'Whar'n the -- -- you goin' to! Cain't you see nothin', you dash-dashed aig-suckin', sheep-stealin', one-eyed son of a stuffed monkey!'
