Hey Everyone, I Have A Quick Few Questions On A School That I Have Previously Attended.

Location Of School: Downtown Atlanta, GA, USA

Questions,

1. Just about everyday, I see one of the teachers slap around/ punch/ grab students by hair. Is that considerable as child abuse?

2. One of the other teachers, makes students do series of punishments for mistakes in lessons, the punishments are physical, but he doesn't touch the student, but he DOES verbally harass, and scare them. The punishments may include but are not limited to: holding your ears, feet together eyes closed, no moving or start all over, up downs. pretty much do the above, and then go up and down. Number of these can range anywhere from 100 to 700. [ I had to do 1000 once] There have been reports of students blacking out, almost fainting, and i have heard from a friend of mine who studies medical, that this kind of a punishment can cause blood clots in the brain because of the vigorous up and down movement. Also, many of the student who get punished are over ludicrous things such as asking a fellow classmate to test them on a lesson, looking away from the book of study [ even for less than 5 seconds (happened to me once because i had to check the time)] "playing" with hands. I also have witnessed with my own eyes, the headmaster of the school BEATING a student who may be, but I am not sure if he is, mentally retarded. There are also many reports of students seeking help from other students threatening to beat them up to teachers but teachers making useless actions to take care of the situation. Please help me out on attaining the knowledge on what to do, many of these students board, [dorm] at this school. NONE of them have phones, to call for help, take pictures, or even record video of these abusive acts against small children. [aged 6-15]
