Jesus had 12 disciples. Most of them were martyred. Peter-Crucified head down, Andrew-Crucified on "X" cross, James-Beheaded, John-Died Peacefully, Philip-Crucified head down, Bartholomew-Crucified and beheaded after being flayed alive, Matthew-Impaled by a halberd, Thomas-Speared, James-Clubbed after stoning and falling from Temple Pinnacle, Simon-Behalfed, Judas-Shot with arrows, Judas Iscariot-Hung himself, Matthias-Stoned and beheaded. These men could have avoided death if they renounced their faith. Why would they choose this fate if they knew that Jesus was lying? Simple, because Jesus wasn't lying; Jesus truly is the son of God.
