My passenger window was recently smashed and my gps stolen. I am getting a new gps and the window is fixed, but I would like to know the best type of car alarms out there. Preferably something that electrocutes anyone that trys to break in (just kidding- would be nice though). I park my car on the street right outside my apartment in Chicago so if I had one that went off when people are within a certain proximity or one that had a paging system, i would be right there to yell out the window and call the police. Any suggestions would be great.

I just read about sprint terminating service because of "excessive" customer service complaints... If these people paid their bill on time then they shouldn't have their service cut. The fact is, if these people called so much then they obviously have problems that need to be addressed... Most companies charge $150-200 to terminate a contract early, and I feel they should have to pay those customers that fee. Any opinions?

In a hypothetical situation where an amendment to ban gay marriage reached a final senate vote needing only a majority, the vote is 50-50 requiring the VP to cast the tie breaking vote. Knowing that his political career is probably going to be pretty much over after his term as VP (at least as an elected official), does he vote against it, thus allowing his openly gay daughter to have the chance at marriage? Or does he continue to push the ultra-conservative ideals of the administration and vote for it?
