I am composing a piece for a concert band. I plan to open the piece with a Timpani (E natural concert pitch). I am wondering how long (seconds) can a timpani hold a note for without fading out?

NB. I do not play and percussion instruments, however I have a basic understanding of the family.

I am using Sibelius (professional Music writing program) on my Mac. When I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Lion the MIDI volume went right down, so when I export the song from Sibelius, the track seems a lot softer that before.

I am running an iMac 2009 (Intel Core i5 + 8GB RAM) with Mac OS X 10.7.4

Any help would be great!

OK. This has been bugging me for a little while now and here's what I know:

Parental Controls are enabled with restricted web access by "try and restrict adult websites automatically"

If I try and "add" any secure website it will not approve and will still say "Safari cannot connect securely to the server at [web address]"

Problem is persistent with other web browsers (FireFox, Opera and Chrome all do not work).

Please Help!

I'm VERY new to WordPress (using WordPress 3.2.1) and using it, mainly as a CMS.

I'm sorry if this is the stupidest question anyone has ever asked!

Despite the face that I am using WordPress as a CMS, I like the way that blog posts are listed on a page. I want a page on my website where all the blog posts in a particular category, e.g. "Sports" are shown. I don't want any posts in sub categories shown, I would like a separate page for that!

I am sorry if this is blatantly obvious, I just do not know how to do this.

Hi. I'm a bisexual (probably more leaning towards gay) male teenager. (please don't say I shouldn't be gay!)

My boyfriend and I always loose interest in doing anything sexual after (generally) we ejaculate after mutual and singular masturbation.

I am in High School (Yr 10 in Melbourne VIC) and a few people have come up to me and asked me to design, construct and manage a website for their small businesses. This would require a one off payment for the website and then a regular monthly payment for the management of their site (hosting, domain name, updates etc...)

I have had a look on the Australian Tax Office's website and after completing an online questionnaire, I am eligible for an ABN but do I need one to receive full payments from my customers?

I doubt that I will make $75,000+ per year (so I am not required to register for GST).

I can (for some strange reason) access Command Prompt (cmd), so I was wondering if anyone knew how to locate the administrator password (i dont want to change it...) or a password from another managed user.
