  • Dell Inspiron N5050 VS Toshiba Satellite 755 Vs Acer Aspire AS5733Z?

I'm looking at buying a new laptop mostly for internet with some video streaming (hulu) and the occasional game. There is also the possibility that I may take some online classes. My poor little cheep and basic Compaq computer has lasted as long as I can make it (four years!) and finally the screen is going out (the hinges have already popped, poor thing). Any Opinions, experances, ETC with any of these?

  • Is This Boat Worth it?

Hi, Someone has just given my Dad this 27' Newport Sailboat. It looks in rough condition, but is still floating in an open harbor. It had some water that needed to be pumped out earlier this year (Major rain storm that the person who did the pumping said an bunch of boats in that harbor needed) so we know we are looking at mold and water damage. My Dad is new to sail boats, but it is an life long dream of his to own one, and is looking at paying an couple of thousand dollars to have it shipped up here to be put on one of our local lakes that take boats of this size.

My question is How much is this boat really worth? Can anyone with anymore experience see something that we don't? I really don't like to look an gift horse in the mouth, but an free sail boat just does seem too good to be true!

  • Ok, here is a hard one, what breed am I?

Ok, lets see how many people get it right.

    what breed am I

Clues, I am purebred, though not the purest in my breed, registered, and have won breed shows in halter. I will give the points to the first one who gets it right.

HI, I have been looking for the best place to order some turken chickens. I need some personal experiences! I live in California and would like to at least order from the west coast, but have been unable to find anyone who sells turkens out here!

  • Is a back cinch necessary on a western saddle that comes with one?

HI, don't laugh, I have just bought my first western saddle after ridding English all of my life. it is a nice reiner that I felt comfortable in and fits the horse that I am planning to ride well. it came with the straps for a back cinch, but not the cinch itself. how important is it, can I safely just take the straps off and store them? also how would the back cinch be on my just started 2 going on 3 year old? is it going to cause problems?

  • what colors would you put on a sabino chestnut and white appaloosa?

HI, I now own the loudest horse in my life, a sabino chestnut and white appaloosa gelding . he has blaze, stockings, and a huge white blanket. his coat is the same copper color as a new penny with a small amount of roaning in it, very pretty.

I was at a show yesterday (showing him halter only) and stayed to watch some of the Western classes. some people in the stands where commenting on what some of the riders where weiring, mostly that the colors where wrong! I had never even thought about colors, I have always ridden under either black and white for dressage or done some stuff in hunter and gold, but I have pretty much always had bays . I want to ride this guy western, but have no idea on colors for him. all of his sheets are navy, and he looks pretty good IMO, but I need more options! any guidelines? I am currently buying him a western saddle, so pad colors would be great.

  • does anyone know anything about aluminum curb bits made by renalde

Hi, I traded some training work for a box of old tack. In it is a very pretty aluminum curb bit marked renalde. When I run a search, I keep coming up with crockett. does anyone know anything about renalde? how are they connected to crockett? it does seem well made for a aluminum.
