  • Need help with TIVO..?

    My brother gave me his Tivo box its series 2,I want to watch TV and record with it using my computer. Plugged it into cable and ran an 's' video cable into comp and hooked up to telephone,then downloaded Desktop Manager from Tivo...couple of lights lit and that's all that happened,I'm sure I'm missing some step in the process. He says I don't have to pay a monthly fee...? is that true?

  • How do I get video and audio between two computers on a home LAN network?

    Want to set up a surveillance cam on one computer that is near my driveway and be able to check it from another computer.I need to know what software to use. The computers are linked via ethernet cables into a router. I don't want to use an internet program like AIM .Thanks
