  • Any good ways to start a conversation over facebook?

There's this girl I like and we talked once over Facebook. It's wasn't all that long of a conversation, and it's been a few days. She's gone on, but she hasn't messaged me at all since. If she likes me, should I have to message her first, even though I messaged her first last time? How should I start a conversation? And if she likes me would she message me first ever?

  • How long should I wait?

On Friday, I was talking on Facebook to the girl I like. We were messaging each other and she said she had to be up early tomorrow. So I told her good night and said she could message me whenever she wants to talk. So I was wondering how long it would be for her to message me, if she will, if she likes me? Also, what are some good tips for talking over Facebook like that?

  • I need all the help I can get. How do I tell her this?

Long story short, my friend in my old state (I moved from NJ to Ohio in October) was able to find the address/phone number of the girl I like.

Basically, I told him her name because he wanted to know. I should have known my best friend better. He looked up her name and the city I live in on white pages or something like that, I don't exactly know how. And then, he decided to *67 call her and breathe into the phone. I didn't want her to think it was me, so I was quiet. He creeped her out so much she wasn't taking private calls after that. I know this because he tried again. Now, I don't know what he plans on doIng with the info he got. I think he's honestly trying to help me in his own way, because normally, I don't say anything to the girl I like, so he could be using fear to make me talk, or he could just be being a jerk.

Okay on to the question. I want to tell her it was my idiot of a best friend before she finds out any other way. I think it's best she find out from me, so she won't get too mad. I know she'll probably stop talking to me, but I got to tell her, so she knows I didn't have a big part in it. Any suggestions? And, for girls, would you hold this against me even though it was my friend?

  • What should I do next?

There is this girl I like. I sometimes stare at her. We also talk sometimes and are friends. We have been getting closer, at least that's what I think, and don't know what to do next. I'm not ready to ask her out, and I don't have her number. Any advice?

  • Do you think this girl likes me?

There is a girl in my Spanish class who is really nice to me. She smiles and sometimes stares at me. We don't talk a lot, but when we do she is normally really nice to me. We don't have any other classes together, but we sit at the same table at lunch. She used to say hi everyday, but has stopped. Does she like me or is she just really nice?

  • Does a girl still stare at a guy even if he isn't attractive?

I like a girl, and don't know if she likes me. I was wondering if girls stare at a guy they like, even if he isn't attractive?

  • How do I ask out this girl I like?

I like this girl in my Spanish class and I need help asking her out. We sit at the same table at lunch, she's maybe 2 or 3 seats away from me.

I never see her alone, or talk to her alone, and I'm shy and don't want to ask her in front of a bunch of our friends. And I don't have her cell phone number, and I would rather ask her out in person. Any advice on asking her, any ways to ask her, and just any useful advice in general?

  • Ever find yourself wondering how these questions turn out?

I've answered a few and always end up wondering if the advice really helped, or how it went. Am I the only one?

  • How do I tell if she is staring at me and not somebody else?

There is this girl I like in my Spanish class. She has caught me staring at her but I don't know if she is staring at me.

The classroom is arranged in a weird way, with half of the desks in the class facing the other half, so it's not like she has to turn her head to face me. The distance is also far enough so that I can't see if her eyes are directly at mine. Is there any other way to see if someone is staring into your eyes?

And I'm really shy, so it's not like I can say why are you staring at me or anything like that.

  • How can I overcome my shyness to start talking to a girl I like?

There is this girl I like, but we only see each other a few times a day. I had moved from New Jersey to Ohio in October, and her and her group of friends had been really nice to me and now they are my friends. Even though, counting lunch, we only got two classes together. I'm confused because I don't know if it's safe to say anything to my friends and expect it to not get around to her.

Basically, I have to talk to her myself, which I'm not used. I normally have my best friend to help me if I need it. I'm out of options, which is why I'm asking here. I'm a shy guy, and I need to know if anyone has any tips/advice/anything useful they can tell me to help me overcome my shyness and start talking to this girl more?

If anyone needs more details or wants me to answer their question, just say so.
