can i replace an ignition switch on a 1996 chevy blazer with one off a 2001 chevy s-10?

im lookin at buyin a yamaha r6 but i was wonderin if anyone had any opinions on the differences between the r6 and the r6s?

not too sure what that means....i am looking at buying a 91 eclipse and th guy says the timing belt skips at around 15MPH. he is only charging 1000 for the car and its in pretty good shape given that its almost 20 years old. is this expensive to fix? the car is a 91 mitsubishi eclipse GSX AWD with 177K miles and its a manual if that matters... thanks

im looking at buying a 95 eagle talon for 1000. the guy says it needs shifter cables. i have no idea what that is or how much it will cost to fix. from googling i found parts prices varied from 29.99 to 89.99. i know its something to do with the transmission shifting from gear to gear but is it a huge problem? i dont want to get a car with transmission problems. is this worth getting? how easily is this fixed and how much am i looking at spending if i do get this car?

My car battery died this weekend and my friend was with me on his bikes. we didnt think we could jump a car with a bike and we werent gonna try it, but now i am curious. is it possible to jump start a car with a bike?

ok so this isnt really a question but i had to tell the world that I learned to ride a motorcycle!!! i have been asking questions on here and to all those that answered my questions, THANKS A BUNCH!! I am so excited about learning to ride. Its been two days and I am still so blown away! I had no idea what I was missing out on for so long!

So i learned on my roomie's yamaha r6 and he has been a really good teacher. WOW! i cant believe I can ride a motorcycle finally! The throttle is really really touchy and the front brake too so i was kind intimidated a little at first but IT KICKS A$$!!!!!!

hi, i'm looking into getting my first bike and i'm not really sure what to pay attention to as far as fit. i mean obviously i want my feet on the ground but am i supposed to have both feet flat? im 5'3'' and i've sat on a couple of friends bikes but i always feel like im stretching or uncomfortable on the bike. (all sport bikes, gsxr600, yamaha R6...) i can usually get one foot down but not the other, is that ok? i read that bikes can be adjusted for rider height to a degree? should i feel like im stretching forward alot on a sport bike? am i only feeling weird on a bike cause im new to it?

i have a 1 yr old GSD/Rotti mix named Duke. He has always beed a really well behaved dog and he has been housebroken for months. today i went to take him into the backyard. i was standing at the door untangling his collar to put it on him and he just lifted his leg on my drapes near the door and peed on them! I have had dogs and GSD's my whole life and i have never seen a dog do this inside the house. I am stumped as to what to do about it. i mean i basically treated it just like if i was housebreaking him. (i told him no firmly and shoved him out the door to finish his business in the yard.) is there something i missed that would cause him to do this? or some better way to deal with it?
