I'm planning a novel and I'm wondering, is it possible to marry someone to allow them to benefit from your health insurance? I saw it on Grey's Anatomy once and the doctor married the patient to allow him to share her health insurance so that he could afford his heart transplant or something like that but I never knew if it happened in real life.

Does anyone have any idea how it works?

For the past week or so, I've been waking with a really bad headache that's focused more toward the front of my head. It's like a throbbing pain and when I move a certain way, it gets more painful. Sometimes my eyes will get a little funny... I don't know how else to put it, they just go out of focus and it's hard to look in certain directions. Then there's some memory loss. I forget names, words, what I walked into a room to do etc and it's worrying me.

Earlier today I had the music channel on and this song came on and Julia Roberts was in the video and I think it was showing clips from Pretty Woman but I just can't remember the name of the song. I've tried searching YouTube and Google but nothing is coming up except the song Pretty Woman and another song called Dream Girls but it's none of those.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'd say it's from the 90's or thereabouts.

I'm working on a novel that will include a main character who has cancer. He will be in his early twenties. I just need help deciding which cancer he'll have and how he'll act and how it'll be treated and whatnot. He will have had cancer previously, so it will have to be a cancer that can recur.

I need to know the ins and outs of it so I did watch The Big C, My Sister's Keeper, 50/50, The Bucket List, Time Of Death (reality so it was pretty helpful) and now I suppose I just need insight from people who have had cancer or people who are informed about it.

I was thinking something like Hodgkin Lymphoma or a type of cancerous brain tumour. What do you think?

It started on Saturday night. I had chest pain on the left hand side and then my left arm went weak. Not weak enough that I couldn't use it but it wasn't as strong as my right. Also, for a while I've been having trouble breathing. When I breathe it feels like I need to keep taking huge breaths and sometimes when I inhale it feels grainy. I did go to the doctors about the breathing thing and they said it was costochondritis or something like that. They gave me ibuprofen but it only worked for a few hours. Plus I'm 18 so I'm not sure I should be having heart issues at this age.

I've been waiting for a dress I bought online to be delivered this week and it was supposed to be here yesterday and when I saw the mailman this morning, I thought he'd be delivering it but it seemed that all he had in his satchel thingy was letters. Is there a different mailman that does parcels?

My 18th birthday is on Friday. My Mum won't take a day off work to go out for lunch or anything and since I have no friends, I'm going to be sitting in the house by myself until 6pm. She's self employed so she can, if she wanted to, move the days around to make it work but she won't?

Plus there's this huge rift in my family so we don't talk to my Dad's side and I just feel like it's going to be a really crappy day.

I'm trying to visit websites (YouTube, websites to read online etc) and all of a sudden this stupid thing pops up saying "The page has been blocked as it contains malware or exploits. The Web page you are trying to access contains malware and exploits that could infect your computer. We advise you not to continue visiting this page." But they're fine because I have AVG and this dumb annoying Panda Cloud thing has popped up out of nowhere and is blocking sites. How do I fix this?

I don't necessarily need a passport because I never leave the country and I don't need a provisional license because I have no intentions of learning how to drive. Is there something else I can get that is an ID I can use to prove my age at clubs/tattoo parlors etc?

I write alot and I have this idea for a story that involves someone who is quadriplegic, but I don't know all the ins and outs of it so just looking for some pointers. My Uncle is a paraplegic (kind of how I was inspired to write a story like this) I know they need a catheter and physio etc but just don't want to miss out any important details.

A few weeks ago I discovered a bruise a few inches above my knee, on the outside of my thigh and it was a weird green colour. The colouring of the bruise is now gone but in the spot where it was, it feels hard... maybe like there's a lump under my skin or something. What is it?

I'm getting a German Shepherd puppy for my 18th birthday

and I don't have a name for her yet. We get her on August 1st. I was thinking Gem because her star sign is Gemini but then I liked Sammy too and now I'm not sure about either. Any suggestions?

I have no friends... and when I say that, I mean zero. Not even a few people that I can kind of call friends either.

It started when I dropped out of school in December 2011. I had two best friends. We'd still meet up, go places, text and whatnot and after a while, these became less frequent. Now, I can't even remember the last time we talked. We were friends for 6 years and now...

Friend A spends most of her time with her boyfriend now. She's now friends with his friends' girlfriends and they're like this group. I once text her to make plans and she said she couldn't but then later that day she posted pictures of her and these other girls at the beach. I knew she was going but I thought that we could all be friends instead of the isolation but apparently not.

Friend B is now legal and spends most of her weekends partying. I'm not that kind of person but in the past I did put myself into those 'party' environments. Otherwise, we'd never see each other. There was this one time she dragged me to a tacky house party and within thirty minutes, she'd disappeared with a boy and I was just... there.

Obviously I'm not totally blameless in all of this. For a while I did distance myself from them because I was dealing with issues I have, but I have tried to fix it. I opened up to one of them about things that were going on with me and her response was "I don't know what to say" and that was it for another 2 months.

What should I do?

My 18th birthday is in three weeks... and I asked for a puppy- German Shepherd to be specific. My parents agreed that I could get one, but every time I find one that suits price/distance wise, they push it back and say that every one I find, we can't get. So far their excuses have been "it's too expensive" (even though they told me a price they were comfortable with) "too far away" "those ones aren't nice" and now they're basically saying that no matter what I find, it's too much money. But there's a litter of pups that won't be ready until a month after my birthday which means I'll have my own money to contribute but they're still shooting me down on this.

I never ask for anything unless it's a birthday/Christmas. Like last year I asked for a kitten (I love animals) and they said I could get one as long as I took care of it. But it was 2 days before Christmas and they still hadn't got one. I had one of those "oh they're gonna surprise me" thoughts in my head but they didn't. I had to go track one down, go pick it up and basically give it to myself like "merry christmas to me" and then a month later they made me give it away.

I don't know if it's me or if it's them but I'd like your opinion on this?

I'm writing a scene in a story I'm working on and the girl and guy are in his house. They love each other, but they have to end it. He's more upset than she is, but she ends up crying too. Here's what I have so far-

"We," I gestured between he and I, "We can't be together. In case you forgot, I am pregnant and you're uncertain about the paternity," He pinched the bridge of his nose as he took my words in, "You and I both know we can't continue this for another nine months until a test can be taken to confirm it."

Justin's body became limp, like it had deflated. Then, after a brief moment of silence, a quiet sniffle echoed throughout the room. He was... crying?

"You know you can't be with me when you're unsure about this baby," I struggled to keep my own composure, "And when it is born and you realize it's yours... we can't just pick up where we left off." My own words were breaking my heart, but I had to do it, "I'm sorry."

"Ems," Swallowing back the lump in his throat, he finally looked at me.

So I want to say that he's teary eyed or a single tears runs down his face and then she gets up (she's sitting on the couch opposite him) and she hugs him and then she breaks down too and it has to be sad and emotional etc.

I have alot of free time and I need some suggestions.

I recently watched Iron Man 1, 2 and 3. The Avengers. Bride Wars. A Cinderella Story. Hangover 1, 2 and 3. Due Date. This Is 40. Flipped. Forrest Gump.

I also watch The Vampire Diaries, Scandal, Awkward, Pretty Little Liars, Revenge, Falling Skies, Touched and Once Upon A Time.

I will watch anything that's good.

I really need to put more music on my iPod. I only have around 200 songs on it but I find it hard to come across music that I like. I tend to like a specific few songs from an artist as opposed to liking a single artist and loving all the music they release.

I think my sorta thing is ballads, songs that tell stories, songs with meaning behind them.

Meatloaf- I'd do anything for love, Goo Goo Dolls- Iris, Rascal Flatts- Why are my three favourites right now. It kinda gives you an idea as to what I like so if you have any suggestions then I'd be grateful :)

Over the past year or so, I've been told (by my family, mostly) that I'm weird and not normal. I know there must be something wrong with me but I don't know what.

I don't like to go out, talk to people and be in company of others. I don't like the thought of people looking at me, judging me etc.

Also... I have this tenancy to go downstairs before my parents go to bed and make sure the doors/windows are locked, everything's switched off, I check behind shower curtain, in cupboards- basically anywhere. For what, I don't know. Plus I sleep with the light on too.

I'm seventeen and whenever I eat, even a big meal, I only feel full for 20-30 minutes and then I'm hungry again. I started taking longer to eat, chew more and put my fork down between bites and it doesn't help. Since I'm overweight, I tried dieting and eating more meals but healthier and obviously smaller portions and it doesn't help at all. Plus I drink alot of water to try and subside the constant feeling of hunger but nothing works. What's going on?

I use an HDMI cable to connect my laptop and TV to watch films and it was working fine and then I tried to hook it up to watch The Hangover 3 and it isn't working. I'm pretty sure it's an issue with the laptop, not the cable, because we've tried two different ones and it's still not working. Any insight on the issue or how to fix it?
