My friend is a peace officer in TX. He has passed their academy and has a solid work history. Is there a way he can lateral into Ca? or does he have to start all over again and take another academy here??

A cop pulls a couple over for speeding. They say their dog is choking and they are trying to get to the vet. Cop says, "It's a dog, okay? You can get another one. Relax." All caught on the dash cam!

Dog proceeds to die as cop issues them a speeding ticket. What would you do?

Cop only gets sensitivity training and a reprimand!

My husband is about to finish Police Academy. There is a strong chance that we will be relocating to Riverside County, Ca..

I am toying with the idea of refurbishing household castoffs into really nice reptile enclosures. I would take items that would otherwise be trashed into a landfill and create one of a kind reptile housing. Items such as speaker boxes, old book cases, old desks, entertainment units etc.

They would be very beautifully done. My question is:

A. How much are you willing to spend on a custom enclosure (Lights, heat fixtures etc...not included) I would work with you to find a piece that would work with the decor you have now and convert it for you.

There are a million jokes involving "Old man Jenkins". Anyone know the story behind it? Who was he..and why are he and "Old Man Johnson" so prevalent in pop-culture legends and stories?

Reading about revenge got me thinking, what is the craziest prank you have ever pulled on some one that went bad?

Personally when I was a kid, I discovered that my closets back wall mirrors my parents shower stall. Mwahaha.

My sister got punished and was having to clean the tile. I crawled into my closet with a hairbrush and used it to scratch the wall. The effect was that everytime she would scrub the wall, I would brush my side- but go 1 second longer than she did. After a few minutes I hear her scream for my mom. Me being stupid, I did it to my mom. She tweaked about it for a few more minutes before realizing what I was doing.

Boy did she get mad and I had to finish scrubbing the shower. Sigh.

While at lunch today, the waiter took my water glass, and about 3 other peoples' (not in my party) water/ drink glasses to refill. How in the heck can he be sure he is giving me back my glass?

The thought of drinking out of what could have been someone else's glass made me a lil green behind the gills, so I didnt drink anymore water.

Can someone please tell me where we can find a therapy pool-bed? My niece needs one, (This is a bed that sits on the floor and has soft sides that prevent her from rolling off.) She cannot stand up or walk unassisted but is VERY mobile in that she rolls EVERYWHERE. She is getting to be too long for her crib. Any help would be much appriciated!

I have been in this relationship for 11 years, married for the last 7. When we were dating I told him that I had experimented when I was younger (I know BIG MISTAKE) with another woman. He has blown this image up in his mind to be a lot more than it really was. For years he has fantasized about a 3 way, then it was several three-ways, now he talks about it being a lifestyle.

My family has finally accepted that I am not an utter failure and respects me. They know nothing of my earlier dalliance. (It was once, not completely unenjoyable- but certainly not a lifestyle I would want to live with forever) I am terrified that they will find out and be very upset with me and I would loose what respect I have worked sooo hard to get.

Let me be fair here..If I were gay, they would be completely supportive. I sometimes cry when I am by myself because I know that I will never be enough woman for him, and fear he will cheat on me to get his way. He swears he loves me, but is blind to my pain

I have lived in my apartment for 6 years. I have owned a dog the entire time. I have paid the deposit ($400) plus $20 a month for this right. I have trained the dog to go potty in the dirt near the door to my apartment so as not to ruin the grass. We do not have a patio/ fenced in area for her to use. We keep the messes cleaned up and have had no issues until the past month.

Now the management has told us that we cant let them go potty there. when I walk them in the little grassy area across the street (in the complex) this jerk comes out and complains about us using the grass to potty the dogs. I take them to the far back and clean up the poo but, he still has a coniption fit about it and eyeballs me the entire time I am out there. I hate it!

Now the apartment management is trying to charge me $65 to "sanitize" the DIRT by our apartment!!!!!!! Do I have to just lay down and submit to this? I have paid over $1,000 in "pet-rent" all ready...shouldnt that cover it? Thank You.

When I stretch (one of those wonderful full body stretches) I often feel paralyzed, then tingly. I also loose my hearing while in the stretch. It generally comes back within a few seconds of stopping the stretch. It can be very scary when this happens. Is this something that happens to everyone?
