That one kid

Well I just built a PC, all the parts are compatible but i cant install OS

I Installed Windows on the HDD on my HP PC and it works, So I'm sure that the HDD is good.

I connected it on my PC that i built and it wont start.

I also tried installing it on the Built PC and it just goes up to "STARTING WINDOWS" But it just stays like that. (windows 7)

I installed Linux on it and it works.. :/

Do I need to change something on my MotherBoard ?

I would like to build a fast operating desktop I just need it to be fast enough for video editing.

The desktop I'm using is alright for video editing but not that fast. (Could run a lot of programs at the same time but not when rendering in HD)

Do I need something else ? I think the Motherboard has an on board video card?

Well if it does I would be using that and then get a video card.

What video card do you recommend ? Also will the parts work is in do they go together ?

Or what parts do you recommend ? Will I need a better power supply ?

I have a Compaq Presario C700.

When i press the power button the light comes up and the fan turns on for about 2 seconds.

(No display)

And then turns off.

When i plug in the charger it stays on but still no display.

I need a video Card for an HP Slime Line S3100N,

What do you recommend ? I just need a video card that will look alright.

I think the power supply is 160Watts.
