  • becoming a stockbroker...?

If I would like to find a job as a broker, have the knowledge but Don't have a degree in a related field. Would I still be applicable for the position?

If so, how would i get there/go about doing it? My biggest concern is that my past work experience doesnt reflect it on my resume.

  • Looking to do "micro-investments"?

I'm interested in doing equity based micro investments as a non-accredited investor for startup companies.

Currently I cant afford to make larger investments of several thousand dollars. I'm looking for investments with a minimum between $100-$500.

Could someone point me in the right direction? Maybe some websites to go to?

  • looking for investors websites...?

I'm doing this as an individual and right now I only know of www.angel.co. there minimum investment for startups is 1000 which is great, but they require you to make atleast 200k/year as an individual to even become an investor on the website.

Are there any similar investment sites out there that people can join that don't have these absurd minimum salary requirements?

More info: im looking to invest in new companies. That $1000 minimum was fine, may be willing to pay a little more.

  • forming business partnerships? different kinds of deals?

i have a business idea, but due to the nature of the business, its makes sense to make a deal with the partnerning company by offering them a percentage of our annual sales.

what other kinds of deals are there aside from an upfront money exchange?

  • Difference between a patent, copyright & trademark?

I've a business idea and have been working on a business plan, however there are still many aspects of business I don't understand. For example what was mentioned in the question.

My idea relates to computers, it also might be considered a "service". You would need an app for it to work.

What are the differences between a patent, copyright and trademark and what do I need if I want to keep my idea safe?

  • Being fired right away, is it legal?

I helped open a new massage and spa parlor, technically i was in a managers position but i was really a jack of all trades especially since Im bilingual and was the only person who spoke fluent english (the owner is chinese)

1st day at the job - helping get ready for the open house

2nd day at the job - business opens (only friends and family knew about it at this time. marketing was still in the process of getting the word out)

3rd day at the job - first official "business day" i would say

in total i was there 3 days. on the 4th she (my boss) had called me and several associates, only to fire us because there was not enough business on the first official business day.

its like she just assumed people would be running in there the moment the business opened.

any suggestions on what i could or should do would be great. it had nothing to do with job performance.

  • Become partners with game developers/companies?

If I want to do business with game developers or companies how do I go about becoming their partner and making proposals? Things of that sort?

Whenever I go to "contact us" on a page, it is usually just customer support, not the people I need.

  • Traveling to Spain after learning Spanish from a Mexican...?

I ve read a little about the differences on previous posts, but non of them mention the actual difference for the listener.

By this I mean, If I go and speak, decent (lets say B1 level) Spanish in Madrid that I ve learned how to speak from a native Mexican -- will people in Spain understand me? or will they just tilt the head in confusion?

How much of a language barrier will there be with the two different styles of Spanish?

  • Credit card minimums & cash advances?

Are you able to do cash advances through an ATM with all the credit card companies?

Also, generally speaking you need to pay a minimum in the first 3 months when getting a card. So, if i got a cash advance, put the money into my debit card & immediately paid off the credit card with my debit, would they see it as me paying the 3 month minimum?

  • Getting tutored in China...?

I just finished a year of studying Chinese here in China and now I'm looking for a tutor to continue my education.

Does anyone know any website/classifieds to find Chinese tutors in the local or surrounding areas? Similar to Craigslist, but for China. If it helps any, I live in Taizhou, Zhejiang province.

I'm not looking for tutoring via Skype or things like that.

    Appreciated.

  • Lip injury?

About 2 weeks ago I busted my upper lip, noticeably. Since then its healed for the most part, no scar and it's not protruding from my face due to its bulk.

There is however a bit of a bump (on the underside) that was never there before, almost as if it stopped healing (or slowed the healing process)

I know leg and feet injuries take a longer time to heal since we are always using/standing on them. I wanted to know if it's similar to that since we are always using our lips to talk, eat, etc...
