Will someone please kindly tell me what?
I have on many occasions seen people write here about sammiches.
Could someone please tell me what these are.
I am over 60 years old and have never heard of these until recently.
Are they just sandwiches and people do not know how to pronounce or spell the word properly or are they something different?
5 AnswersOther - Food & Drink8 years agoAre there any seniors out there who like the new look mail?
I think it looks as though it has been designed for those with a slightly lower IQ than the average.
As I had tweaked the page to my liking, it now feels as if someone has been interfering with my pc, almost like being broken into.
No chance of changing it back either.
I have sent my feedback to them, but as we all know they don't give fig about us, nothing will be done.
15 AnswersSenior Citizens8 years agoSenior Citizens. How does it happen that?
Although I have at the top of my y/a UK and Ireland only, I see that our cousins from across the pond also get these questions, and seem to think we Brits are asking them questions about GB?
10 AnswersSenior Citizens9 years agoIs there a foxproof fencing available UK?
Over the last few days, my daughter has had to rescue one of her rabbits from the jaws of a fox in broad daylight (he is now quite poorly).
Plus my son has had one of his ducks and now a turkey attacked by them, (the turkey was killed)
I wondered if there was any kind of fencing that definitely keeps foxes out.
They are not rich so will not be able to afford anything too pricey.
1 AnswerGarden & Landscape9 years agoHas any one tried using beet leaves?
I bought some nice beets today (red) and cooked the roots as usual to add to a salad, but the leaves were fresh and nice looking.
A lot of recipes say to cook them the same as chard or kale.
I just wondered if any one has tried them and what are they like?
4 AnswersCooking & Recipes9 years agoWhy does YA allow the same Question?
I have noticed that in food and drink, there is one person who asks exactly the same question two and three times a week for several weeks now.
It gets very annoying when most people are asking serious questions, or at least tongue in cheek ones.
Why does YA allow this, and why do people keep feeding the troll!
2 AnswersYahoo Answers9 years agoBreakfast cream? What?
I have just been browsing some of the answers in questions and came across an interesting looking recipe.
One of the ingredients is breakfast cream.
I live in the UK and have been cooking and shopping for many years and have never heard of this.
Anyone able to enlighten me?
