only have osx 10.4.11 can't run SL5 :(

I bought a fender bassman 150 about 3 months ago from a friend who just bought it brand new. He didn't want to play bass any more so any way. The speaker is blown now. i didn't do anything out of the ordinary, just general use. i tested all other components and found the speaker to be the only non-working part, it just makes a faint crackle when played thru. and smells like burnt plastic.

so my question is, is there a speaker i can get that will handle high volume playing and just be a better all-around speaker? it seems to be a easy swap out just unplug old and plug in new. but i don't know what will be compatible with this amp. please any help would be appreciated greatly. i have more shows coming up very soon and need to get this fixed asap. i'd say it does it 7 out of ten times so i know it can shift smooth. is this nomal, or something i should have looked at. by the way it's a old bike but has low miles( '76, 2000m )

on the back side of the engine between the two blocks on the very top there is a tip sticking out that looks like there should be a tube coming out of it. small amounts of oil come flying out when the bike is running. there is a retaining clip around it, this same retaining clip holds the R and L side spark plug wires. my question is what should go there. this machanis said it's just a hose that should drain somewhere, but he doesn't know where. so does anyone know where this tube should lead to? I bought a hose that fits and is heat resistant, but don't know where to attach the other end of the hose, if anywhere! HELP PLEASE.
