2 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment9 years agoAudit vs Withdraw: I cannot deal with this class anymore!?
I'm taking a college level Chemistry class as a prereq for a future program. I've tried tutors, youtube, and flash cards; I'm already behind and the class is moving way too fast for me. Should I bounce? Is auditing more beneficial than withdrawing altogether?

2 AnswersHigher Education (University +)9 years agoWhy is the OJ Simpson glove back in the news?
It's been 20 years since the trial of the century. Johnny Cochran is dead and can't speak on the new allegations. Why wait so long to make new accusations? Isn't there a statute of limitations on these matters? It would seem 20 years is an awful long time to make a claim to the media. Personally, I think this is a plot to villify black men again, just in time for the 2012 US elections. What do you think?

Why should the common man foot the unfair tax bill that the rich man was discounted?
13 AnswersOther - Politics & Government9 years agoSomething creepy is happening on Sesame Street...?
I came across Sesame Street the other morning, and I felt like being a big 35 year old kid and see what was new with an old friend. So I see this Abby Cadabby monster, with a penguin, and some furry muchacha monster. They are all playing princess. Innocent, right? The penguin manages to get stuck in a mailbox, with its little muppet shoes hanging out of the slot. A human prince comes along, and wants to save her. His solution was to take off the penguin's muppet shoes, and he proceeded to....KISS HER MUPPET FEET!!!!!! Is this what our kids are watching? What does this have to do with ABCs and 123s? It is a mass molestation of kids! I have been so disturbed by it, simply bc Sesame Street has sunk with the rest of our culture, and the kids are so exposed that they are virtually robbed of their innocence.
Are there any other creepy kid themed shows/characters that give you this vibe? Here is a given: Bert and Ernie. We don't have to discuss what seems to be understood about these two...
6 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoInforming the wife of infidelity?
If my husband were a cheater, I'd want someone to tell me. Their marriage is heading for a divorce anyway, so, should I send her an anonymous letter to confirm her feelings that he was unfaithful?
The husband was stupid enough to give their real home address to the wrong woman...what can I do with it?
15 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoWhat happens to mice after they eat green poison bait laid around the home?
I know that they eat the bait, and they get thirsty, and search for water. However, I have found mounds of the green bait mixed in with a weird pebble-like material. I want to think that the mice ate the bait, and went to their hideout, and then POOF! They turn into that black pebbbled mess mixed in with the green poison they consumed.
How does the green poison pellets kill mice, and what happens to their bodies when consumed?
3 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoWhy does the repair shop charge me for wanting to keep a replaced part?
So I went into PB today, and had a diagnostic done on my car for the thermostat light that comes off and on. They tell me that I have a dented up radiator that needs to be replaced, and they can work the bill down to $300 for parts and labor. OUCH!! But, it needed to be done, so I will just suffer.
I got to thinking about it, and decided to take the bad radiator with me. Perhaps I could get a second opinion outside of this shop concerning how faulty it was. The problem is, they will charge an additional $60 to release the part to the customer...HUH?
I bring my car in, purchase new parts, and to keep what I originally came in with I'd have to pay additional money??!! I am considering getting the better business bureau in on this because that is robbery! Can anyone make sense of PBs logic?
7 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoAre today's soap operas outdated, redundant, and obsolete?
Soap operas were started on the radio shows prior to the television boom. Since then, we have been entertained by daytime game shows (which help boost brain power), talk shows (when it comes to 2 month old Jabarri, Chris, you are not the father!!), and informative news shows.
Soap operas are about as entertaining as a side show at the circus.
I know people who live their lives as a soap opera. They have someone who is their sworn enemy in real life, and they go around causing havoc on the happy people of the world. To me it is sad that people choose to live in such drama and cause strife because they were influenced by something seen on TV.
Is it just me, or, is it time to pull the plug on the remaining soap operas that just regurgitates the same story line over and over? The only thing that may change is the technology, gender, or races of this circus. Lets free these veteran soap stars from their life sentences in the soap opera world.

When it rains, it pours! A large puddle is always on my passenger side floor, and I have to vacuum it whenever it rains. What is a quick fix until I take it to the shop?
