I found out January 15th that I'm pregnant. I'm not sure how far along I am, but in the hospital it came up positive on both the blood and urine tests. The last time I had anything relative to a cycle, it was a miscarriage on November 11th. I also have PCOS, endometriosis, and I'm borderline anemic. This is will be my third pregnancy, the first two ended within the first four weeks with miscarriages.

I have my first appointment Monday morning and I'm curious as to if I will have a sonogram earlier since I'd be considered high risk (my doctor has already determined this and has planned for me to meet with a high risk doctor) and also because twins run strong in my family.

I was supposed to have ovulated between the 10th and 14th and I had sex with my boyfriend the 11th-13th.

Today I was discharged from the hospital after spending three days there due to extreme abdominal pain. (I have PCOS and endometriosis.) On Friday they did a CT scan and I've been on a lot of pain medicine. Today, I had some light pink spotting. Is it possible that I conceived and then lost the baby due to radiation and pain medicine?

I have an appointment with the doctor tomorrow and I will talk to him about it so please don't tell me to take a test or go to the doctor. Thanks =D

With that out of the way, here we go.

I've been taking Metformin 1500mg since Jan. 1st, 2010. I had my period 1/19 and saw my ob/gyn on 1/26. I bled again from 2/1 to 2/4 with no cramping.

On the 3rd I started getting these symptoms:

My skin is breaking out, which rarely happens.

Terrible heartburn, headaches and constipation.

Stomach pains.

Nausea.

Minor aversions to food and smells.

Heightened hunger and urination.

Fatigue, but trouble sleeping at night.

My doctor thinks it might be an ulcer, but my fiance thinks I'm pregnant.

Thoughts?

I started my period on 1/19/10. I saw my doctor on 1/26. My fiance and I are TTC, but I have been bleeding heavily since 2/1. At first I thought it was ovulation bleeding but this is really heavy, a lot heavier than I expected. I have been taking 1500mg of Metformin since 1/1/10. Any suggestions? I have tried calling my doctor but it seems they never want to answer. I know I have been very stressed the past few days, but I've never stressed myself into having another period.

Has anyone else experienced this or do you possibly have an idea?

Don't tell me to go see a doctor because I'm working on it. And don't tell me to take a pregnancy test because it won't show up yet. I'll take one in 2 weeks if I don't have a real(?) period.

I went into the office on Tuesday complaining of shoulder pain. I cannot lift my arm, hold anything, pull anything or even write with a pen.

He diagnosed me with a torn rotator cuff and told me to get an x-ray as soon as possible. I went the next day and had the x-ray done.

I called today and they said the results were in. The x-ray has an "artifact" on it and the specialist is unclear of what it is.

My doctor told me to come in as soon as possible and we have to do an immediate MRI.

How worried should I be, honestly? What are the chances of this leading to surgery.

What is an "artifact" and what could be going on in my shoulder?

I asked a question last night about some symptoms I've been having.

I had my very first depo June 11th. I had unprotected sex August 20th and my next depo was due for September 4th but I didn't get it done. The past three days I've been getting hot flashes, headaches, nausea, frequent urination, hard stool, and I'm constantly tired.

Today, I had some spotting. It was light pink and only on the toilet paper. I worked out with my friend, but it wasn't really straining at all, nothing I'm not used to, but I haven't worked out in awhile. My friend and I waited a few hours and then went out to eat. I ate a couple pieces of pizza, but kept it small pieces. On my way to the car, I vomited everything up in the parking lot. I've felt like I was going to throw up again since then, and haven't eaten. When I came home, I went to the bathroom and when I wiped it was thicker consistency and brown, with some red.

I plan on testing in a couple weeks if symptoms persist, but it's only been a few weeks since intercourse, and I was still on depo. Are these signs from coming off of depo or could I be pregnant. What's your thoughts? Sorry for it being lengthy.

Also, if it IS pregnancy, is it possible that it's twins (a LOT run in my family) so that's why I'm having symptoms so early?

Okay, before anyone gets started. I'm going to do a pregnancy test in 3 weeks. I'm also going to the doctor around that time. So don't tell me to take a test and go see a doctor. All of that is already planned. I want opinions from people.

I've only had sex a couple times and it was a few weeks ago. About 3ish. I was on Depo at the time, but was at the end of the cycle. I've had a little spotting since intercourse, but none within the last week.

Now my symptoms: INTENSE heartburn. I've never had heartburn before so this is confusing the hell out me. Random bloating and stomach cramping. Headaches, hot flashes, and constant nausea. I yawned and almost threw up. I'm really hungry, but everything sounds gross. I honestly think I just have the flu, because even if I were pregnant, I wouldn't feel symptoms yet. Right? What's your opinion?

I'm doing a paper on Angela Johnson, the writer. I need three more articles that were originally hard copies. Or a biography that was originally a book where I can get the original citations for.

My grandfather passed away today and I asked for the day off tomorrow to be with my family because all of us are really broken up about it. I was really close to my grandfather and haven't gone more than an hour without breaking down.

My employer said I need to work half a day tomorrow. At the moment, I'm with family almost an hour away from my job. Driving out there, I might as well work a full day but the whole point is to be with my family in this time of grief.

I work in Pennsylvania and live in Ohio.

I have had two bottles of Green tea in the past two days and that's the only thing I can think that causes me to wake up in the middle of the night needing to use the bathroom very bad. But I haven't had any today and I'm still having this issue.

Any and all reasons given will be researched and figured out. =)

I'm supposed to get the second dose before September 8th. I have tried to do some research on the Depo shot and wanted some opinions from other women who have been on it. Should I continue it?

Also, August 22nd I had unprotected sex with my partner. Since I'm supposed to get the second dose anywhere from August 20th and September 8th, and I started spotting today, could there be any chance of pregnancy? I know this is a ridiculous questions, but I want to know the limits of the Depo shot.

I'm adopting my brother who is seven. He'll be going into second grade this fall. I've never met him, I found out he existed when I was contacted by the foster care agency in Florida. I don't have any children so I've never had to choose a school before. I know the city I live in doesn't have very good school systems, but I am very fond of the online homeschool system in this county. All of the "best" schools will cause a half hour to 45 minute commute for me everyday, but I want what is best for him. Is he too young to go into homeschooling? He has an abusive past and he has some behavioral issues in the public school system he's in now, but otherwise he's a very intelligent student.

I just took two pills because I can barely breathe I'm so congested. but it's 4 am. Is this going to keep me up? =)

I have a friend who has a girlfriend who is pregnant. He doesn't want to be with her anymore, because she has knowingly cheated, but he doesn't want to jeopardize being part of the child's life. He wants a paternity test but can't afford it. Would she have to pay for the doctor bill and the paternity test if he asks for her to get one?

He wants to gain custody of the child, but doesn't think he should pay to find out if it's even his and to be honest, I agree with him. He lives in Michigan. Any information would be great. Thanks!

This recipe calls for me to use foil AND parchment paper in the pan.

When I was shopping, I figure parchment paper and wax paper were the same thing (I'm a young baker...)

So now I'm stuck and don't have any parchment paper, nor the money to buy it. (Yay gas prices!)

What can I substitute? Another layer of foil? Wax paper?

The recipe says 375 degrees if that helps.

I live in North Carolina now, but I grew up in Ohio and I've never heard of an after 9 license. I'm curious as to what it is, the age you need to be to get it and information like that. Thank you =)

I'm looking into buying a stigmatized house. Price is not the reason, though it's a plus. I'm really into researching old homes and buildings and finding the history on places.

Does anyone know if it's possible to look at listings of stigmatized houses in the United States? I don't really care where in the U.S., but I'd prefer somewhere with an interesting past.

Not that I'd enjoy a big city, I'm just trying to look at as many houses as possible.
