Hillsy
Can I fight the insurance company on this?
I was in a car accident in late February. Technically the accident was my fault but I did not receive a ticket. The city I was in did not plow and there was a lot of snow, ice, and slush on the ground on a very busy divided highway (most people have heard of it thanks to Eminem, I was on 8 Mile in Detroit). I could not stop even though I was going slow so I swerved to miss a car (I was in the turn-around/Michigan Left lane) up onto the grassy, snowy median, but I slid all the way over it and back into the lane and hit the other car from the side. The rear passenger door on my car hit their driver door. I had no damage on my car and the guy "claimed" I damaged his door handle, but the car had a ton of damage to the driver side from a previous accident. He admitted the extensive damage on the car was from an accident he had a couple weeks before. Even the officer told me he didn't believe I caused any damage to their car because there was nothing on my car to show I did, but I admitted I hit him so the officer took his word for it in the report. I also rear-ended another car, but there was no damage to their vehicle or mine so that person left.
But, because I hit 2 cars and 2 curbs (sliding onto and off the median area), I was injured (no one in the other vehicles were and I was alone in my car). The jerking and bouncing around from all of it aggravated a back injury I have and made it much worse, as well as injury to my arm, leg, and neck. I didn't notice at first and opted not to go to the hospital (adrenaline?), but when I woke up the next morning I was in severe pain. I went to see my pain dr explaining what happened and he confirmed my injuries, gave me pain medications, sent me to physical therapy 3 times a week, and scheduled another appt to reevaluate my injuries and see what other treatments I'll be needing as well as scheduling MRI's and more x-rays.
Well the car I was driving is my mother-in-law's, she has alzheimer's disease now and won't be driving anymore so she was giving the car to me this month for my birthday. Next week we were suppose to go to the secretary of state and sign it over to me and everything. Well that other driver made a claim for their door handle, and I was talking to a lawyer to make my own claim for my no-fault benefits since I was injured and I will need my medical bills and stuff covered. We received a letter from the insurance company saying they would be cancelling the policy because they claim we committed fraud. The policy is in her name, and they are stating that she hasn't driven the car in a long time (it hasn't been very long) and that she doesn't live at the address where the car is parked anymore. That isn't true. My husband and I live with her at her house where the car is parked. She often stays at my sister-in-laws house because my sister-in-law doesn't work and has more time to care for her, but she still stays here too and her address on her license, bills, everything even her stuff is still at this address. I'm going to get a hold of my lawyer again on Monday to see what I can do, but the insurance company won't speak to me about any of it because my brother-in-law is her power of attorney so they will only speak to him. We have them talking to him instead of her because we don't want to upset her, her short term memory is going so she often forgets the accident even happened. Can they do this or are they just trying to get out of paying or trying to scare us out of making a claim? Yes I use her car to run errands sometimes because I don't have a car (my friend wrecked my car) but it's still her car, she's still licensed, she's still paying for her insurance. Do you think my lawyer will be able to help me with this so I can pay for my medical care?

on the iphone 3gs when you sync it with itunes, will it put all your music on it like an ipod? i heard it only allows music that's been purchased/downloaded from itunes, is that true or will it load any music you have on itunes no matter where it came from (ie cds, napster, limewire, and other music transfered to itunes from somewhere else)?

1 AnswerLanguages1 decade agoIs it weird that it turns me on that my husband's friends envy him?
I'm almost 26 and am very much in love with my husband who is 59. We've been married for 3 years, been together for 4, and known each other for 10. I've always wanted him, but he wasn't attracted to me until I was 21-22 (well he told me he started having feelings for me when I was 18-19, but still felt I was too young and had some growing up to do before he was willing to be anything more than friends with me). He has been divorced a couple times and vowed never to get into anything serious again, in the mean time I had been engaged, had a child and had my heart broken so I had no interest in that either, but once we started seeing each other that all changed quickly. We've always had a lot in common from movies and music to views on life, future plans, religion, and politics, so in our case age really is just a number. We got together when I was 22 and have always been very passionate since we were attracted to each other for so long. We have a really amazing marriage and sex life. We are deeply in love and it shows, my friends are always commenting on how they wish they had with someone what I have with him.
Ok, so now that I've given you our background, I have a question. Obviously I'm much younger than him and many of his friends. They often make little comments about how lucky he is, how pretty I am (my husband is very handsome as well and doesn't look his age, he's very athletic and healthy), comments on my body (mainly my breast size, my butt and how I have such a pretty face and eyes) and say things like "damn dude, how'd you get her?" and stuff like that as well as comments on me being funny and smart. He doesn't mind the things they say, he says it makes him feel good to be with someone that other people wish they had and they're just pointing out some of the reasons he fell in love with me. It's very flattering to me and I like it.
What's really a big turn on for me is when he and his friends have little conversations about sex or he brags about me. A lot of his friends at work envy his sex life and ask him about it. For example this morning before he left for work, I said I wanted to give him a good start for the day and gave him oral sex. This happens pretty regularly or I turn off his alarm clock and wake him up in a very sexual way. His coworkers/friends know how passionate we are (we do a lot of PDA), so they'll say things like "You've got a big smile this morning, Hillsy wake up in the mood again?" He'll imply we had some fun and this turns me on like crazy. I like that he shares small tidbits of our sex life with his friends and that they tell him they wish they had a women like me. Is it weird that I love that he gets this kind of attention? I'm confident, so I don't need that attention to feel good about myself, I just like it. I get really turned on when he tells me the things his friends asked, said, or what he told them, which in turn leads to more sex. Should I want our sex life to be more private? Obviously I'm a very sexual person, and I'm also very open and honest. Some of my friends get mad when their husbands or wives talk about their sex life, but I love it. Should we keep our sex life more private or is it normal for men to chat/brag about sex with their friends? I know we women do it! This has only been happening frequently for the last year or so, since he got transferred to a building where he's friends with many of his coworkers. Before that some close friends and male relatives had some questions and comments when we first got together. It was pretty infrequent, but even back then I liked it. Is it weird that I like this so much and find it to be such a turn on?
Sorry this is so long, I just wanted to explain it well so I got some good answers.
5 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agohow do i get scammers busted?
I know all about internet scammers that try to get you to wire them money so they can send you money or have a house or car "for sale" or want to "buy" something from you and want you to wire them payment then they disappear, i've never fallen for it, but i constantly get those emails that say i have money somewhere and all i have to do is western union them money for shipping and it'll be deposited into my bank account. I wanna know if there's a way to set them up and get them busted and put in jail. i've kept up contact with a couple of them who fall for my ingnorance act (sure i'll do it, but where did the money come from?, i'll be happy to pay you but i don't know how i got this money, ect) and i want to get them caught before someone does fall for it an lose their money like that idiot on teen mom. is there a way to do this?
4 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police1 decade agocan you take cialis and muse at the same time?
my hubby was prescribed the 20mg cialis pill, recently his urologist put him on 500mg muse. We have cialis left over from before the muse. Both work ok, the muse doesn't last very long, the cialis lasts a day and a half but the muse gives stronger erections. I'm wondering if he can take both so we can go a few more rounds than we could with just the muse. His dr won't be in until next week, and our daughter is away this weekend so we'd like to find out before that ;)
Has anyone done this? He has no history with those super long erections or anything, but he also prematurley ejaculates nowadays (he's getting older, I'm only 25 so I still want it a LOT) so I'd like him to be as hard as possible so he doesn't lose it when we do stuff to help him last longer or go for round 2.
