Mine is beyond strict. If a piece of metal on your saddle has a scratch, you fail and you will keep failing until that piece of metal gets replaced. In the hard to reach places, they will shove a tooth pick in it and if any dust is on it when they pull it out, you fail. You need a jumping saddle for the Cross Country and Stadium Jumping and a Dressage saddle for the Dressage part of the tests, or you fail (but not until the higher levels). If your horse has any dandruff in their mane, you fail. I'm not sure about the horse horse care, management and riding, as I haven't been "behind the lines" for that like I have for the tack and horse inspections. How strict is your Pony Club?
