  • Mridangam Tips? (Indian Carnatic Percussion)?

    I'm doing my arangetram (professional debut) soon, and the one major issue that I continue to have is being unable to keep up with some of the faster songs. My arm cramps up, and I get all tense; I try to relax myself, but it doesn't really work when things get faster, like with the thillanas. Does anybody have any tips as to how to make myself play faster?
