Using vb.net to output text to a browser textbox?
So here is what I'm try to attain:
I current use the signature plug-in for Firefox. I currently use it to manage my canned answers as work. My one dislike of the signature plug-in is that it allows me now way to organize signatures based on something like a category. So I have coded a GUI to organize specific canned answers but I cannot find any way to have the vb.net application push the data out to a text box in a browser web page. To explain to more detail at work our ticketing system is accessed through a browser and so I am trying to get my vb code to output text to the browser.
Also I am trying to also get the application the push specific text on a computer to where ever the text cursor is currently located. If this is an easier option then passing the data to an actual text box on a web page I'll use that option for both functions.
Thanks in advance for any assistance!
1 AnswerProgramming & Design1 decade agoHopefully A Simple Microsoft Access Question-Printing A Report?
First off thanks for taking the time to look at my question. Hopefully this will be a simple answer for anyone well versed in Microsoft Access. I am designing an access database to track cell phones when customers bring them in for repair. I have created the table, form and corresponding report to print the data but when I run the report of repairs in the database the reports runs all entries in the table. I've tried to add a print button to preview the report but again it prints a mulitpage reports for all entries. Is there a way to create the print button but only have it generate a report for the entry in question. Any advice would be appriciated.
3 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoCoding Web Browser Toolbars?
Does anyone have any experience coding web browser toolbars? I've used Conduits website to create browser toolbars but I don't like how I'm forced to use their advertising based search and I don't like their terms of service, it seems like they are sending to much information about my browsing history. I'm trying to code this toolbar for use by my company and they arn't confortable with a 3rd party designed toolbar for security reasons. Has anyone coded their own toolbar for IE and/or Firefox and if so what coding language are you using and do you know of either any web or paper references I could read for help.
Thanks in advance!
