Why is my urine so dark? Should I go to the doctor?
Bit of background: about a month ago, give or take a week, my mother was sick with the flu. I went into town one day, it was cold but I bundled up and stayed warm. After two or so hours I was back home, and cold, but after I got back inside and warmed up, I couldn't stop shivering. I had aches and pains and I was convinced I'd caught my mom's bug, but it went away within 24 hours. This was when my urine began to look off color.
It was dark and brownish, like a UTI but without the pain/discomfort. I started drinking more water to make sure I wasn't dehydrated, which helped, but since then it's either had a dark-ish or grayed appearance, for lack of better words.
I'm sick now - headcold symptoms, not quite the flu but I think I ran a fever some time last night. It's gone now. But now it's really dark again - like cola, almost, and tinted red like there's blood. I'm female but not on my cycle - haven't had a period in about a year now - so I know it's not affected by that. I've been drinking a LOT of water lately, so I'm pretty sure it isn't dehydration either.
I don't want to worry anyone if it's no big deal, but I'm more than a little concerned. There's no pain, or anything. It's just... dark and reddish.
Any idea what it could possibly be? Should I get this checked out by anything doctor? Thanks for your input!
2 AnswersWomen's Health4 years agoTrouble logging into new Facebook account?
I ve been trying for the past hour or so to log in to a new Facebook account I just made today, after deleting an old one.
I ve used a different email that I have access to, I m above the age restrictions for the website, and I m entering the correct password for my sign-in. I ve tried doing it on my laptop, in different browsers, in the mobile app and in my mobile browser, as well.
To activate my account, it says I need to sign in. But whenever I try to sign in, it takes a couple minutes to load, then defaults to a page that says, "sorry, something went wrong", despite me having been able to log on to the old account mere MINUTES before deactivating and trying out the new one.
Can anyone tell me what s wrong/how to fix it? To be blunt, it s seriously pissing me off and I have no idea on how to fix it.
2 AnswersFacebook5 years agoWhy am I having sugar cravings, and how do I make them stop?
OK, I know this sounds stupid, but it's really starting to bother me.
As you could guess, I've been having some persistent (and annoying) cravings for basically anything sweet. I've always had a bit of a sweet-tooth, but it's never been this nagging before. Even as I sit here typing this, it's bothering me, to the point where I'm starting to feel physically/mentally distracted.
I've done some reading online, but I don't know if the stuff I'm reading applies to me. Ie: most of it is for woman between 25 - 40, and I'm only 17. Another thing I've read about is that it can be linked to stress. I don't handle stress well, but since I'm out of school, I don't really feel like I have much to be stressed about. I also have depression/anxiety, so maybe those could be playing a factor in it?
I've been eating all day - as healthily as I can, since our cupboards are pretty bare atm - but I've also had sweeter stuff. I still feel myself wanting to get more sugary stuff. But it's not just today, but frequently the past few weeks. It's almost to the point where I'm binging on all this crap food, which is bothering me because I'm trying to eat healthier, for general health's sake. And this has been a nuisance.
I'm trying to suppress them, but it's becoming pretty difficult. Unfortunately, at the moment, we don't have anything like fruit to substitute the junk stuff. But I'm still trying my best.
Anyone have an idea on why I'm having these cravings, and how to help suppress/ignore them?
2 AnswersMental Health6 years agoDoes anyone know about this online game?
Several classmates of mine play it in computer tech when we've got some free-time. It's an online game, where you literally play a dot. And you have to eat/absorb smaller dots to grow larger. While also avoiding being absorbed by other dots.
It's online and you can play either in FFA (Free-For-All) or in teams, and there's thousands of IRL players. You move with your mouse, and can split yourself into more dots with the Spacebar, and "shoot projectiles" with the W key.
The URL ends with .io, or something like that. I can't remember what it's called, or where to find it. I've been looking for over an hour because I REALLY want to play it, and it's driving me CRAZY.
Does anyone know which game I'm talking about?
3 AnswersVideo & Online Games6 years agoWhat is the Symbolism of a Black Swallowtail Butterfly?
I know butterflies usually represent spring or new life, but I was wondering if there were any deeper/sentimental meanings to them? Or amore dark/morbid symbolism, because I'm using butterflies in a story of mine where someone the character loved dies and he gets depressed and suicidal and such, and pretty much his journey thru the whole ordeal, and getting over his sadness.
