Heres the thing, im a musician. I play guitar in prog/thrash metal band and i love heavy metal, dont really care if you do or not. My question is, why do so many assholes think theyre better than me based solely on the fact that i play heavy metal ? I know how to read music perfectly just like almost all metal guitarists and i appreciate/comprehend a far wider array of musical styles and genres than the average player (the only ones i denounce are mainstream hip-hop and anything by disney), all on top of playing one of the most technically demanding genres of music. Just trying to get across the fact that metal musicians are intelligent.

Id like some actual feedback please, none of you narrow-minded Lil Wayne fans spewing juvenile nonsense like "heavy metal sucks"
