Jack Packs Mom

I walk my Jack pack every day no matter what the weather and the worst thing ever is trying to get across streets. I don't mind standing there when the weather is good but sometimes it is snowing or raining and car after car will drive by and none will stop to let us across. The worst ever was a cold winter day and 18 cars went whizzing by until a young man in his teens stopped and let us across. What is your hurry, are you on your way to a life saving operation? Do you not see that person standing patiently on the side of the road waiting to cross?

I am serious, why is it when some people are in a nice warm, or air conditioned car they don't give a thought to people outside in the sun or cold.

I do a lot of freecyling, and give away a lot of things from furniture to items I get for free. Most people are polite and say please and send a follow up email of thanks later. Proper etiquette for those using the site. One person always asks for things but she has never once said thank you. Should I just tell her items are gone, or tell her "bad manners" makes me want to pass her over. I am happy to share, but her lack of even one thank you really bothers me.
