My best friend has a crush on me (I'm pretty sure) and I like him, too, but neither of us is going to admit it anytime soon. He's pretty bigheaded and normally very honest, but wouldn't want to be "wrong" if he asked me out and I said no. I'm too wimpy (being honest) and if I were wrong (which I doubt) he'd get a pretty big head because he seems to think every girl he knows has a crush on him (which is untrue).

Anyway, I'm pretty sure he likes me. We're best friends, we hang out almost every single day, maintain constant contact/correspondence when apart, and he treats me pretty differently from our other friends. He also has a bad habit of insulting me at parties when I'm talking to different guys and has even done something that he knew would annoy me just to "spite" me. (I know those aren't really nice traits btw). But anyway he does me favors and doesn't mind going a bit out of his way to be with me/for me despite his typical stingy and reclusive nature. Whenever we aren't together people ask me if we're going out because they're used to seeing us together.

We're both young adults, not in high school, and we've been friends for over a year.

I'm just using a dying kit to bleach a small section, and I want to wash my hair when I'm done. I I've heard that I'm not supposed to condition it.

I've always wonderd that, I'm curious. If so, why or why not?

And no girls answer, please....

I have the new nano, and the other day I plugged it in and it had a little bubble pop up from the bar on the bottom (i have Windows XP). Then it stopped connecting to my computer... like, I plug it in all the time and my computer doesn't pick up on it and the iPod doesn't either. It won't charge, either.

So does anybody know what's wrong and what I should do?

I'm going to one with my friends and we got tickets for the mosh pit... I've heard FoB has a tendency to throw stuff to the crowd, is that true? And how much is the merch and stuff? Any info would be nice... like if they throw stuff or crowd surf or anything. Thanks =)

Hey, I'm in hs and I have two very good talents - I'm a really good writer (the lowest grade I've ever gotten on an essay is a 97%) and great at English, but I'm also really good at science (mainly physical science/physics/mechanical engineering) and math. I also have a real passion for both subjects.

Those are two really opposite sides of the educational spectrum, and when I look at colleges I'm either looking at MIT or Northwestern. I can't go to both, though (duh) so which would lead to a better overall life (enjoyment and paywise)

Getting into Northwestern would be easier, by the way, for me. So which college/career would you say I should pursue considering what I'm good at?

If someone is accused of rape, can someone please tell me what is supposed to happen (legally) from accusation point and on? If you can give me a website that will explain, it'd be good, too.

And no, I wasn't raped, I just need to know the legal process.

Is it just me or does anybody else find most of her books to be EXTREMELY cliche and predictable??

I'm not trying to completely bash her books (I think she's a good writer) but I was just wondering if I'm the only person who noticed that?

I think she's good but I always know what's going to happen. Always. No variations. Except Dreamland, but I didn't like that much anyway.

Is dark humor just a shallow, depressing way of writing and speaking humorously, or do you think it's an appreciable, substantial kind of humor.

okay now i need to know if i really am being emotionally abused

there's a lot of name calling. i get told that what i think and feel doesnt really matter. i get put down a lot. i usually end up feeling like i'm not worth much. there's been a lot of suicide thoughts. i've become bitter and really withdrawn and when i do talk people think i'm weird. i tend to sort of get quiet and unresponsive sometimes, especially when im with the person who i think abuses me. people tell me i look unhappy. my parents arent always mean, though, it's only sometimes.

they dont seem to like who i am. they don't like my hobbies. they dont like what i'm interested in and always shout at me for it. i get shouted at a LOT. i usually feel like i messed up. i get blamed for things a lot, even in public. they tell me that when i cry or feel bad im being overdramatic and feeling bad for myself. a lot of insults. person has short temper.

am i being emotionally abused or is this really just an average kid's life?

I know someone who I think is being emotionally abused, but she won't tella anybody but me, and told me it's because she still loves her parents a lot and usually they're pretty normal. Is that normal or is she just not being abused?

What's the name of the song in the movie when Ed was looking for the bad hacker guy? The song playing when she met the transvestite and whacko with a shotgun?
