Kaplan Online University is scamming millions of people out of thousands of dollars if you are one of those people, scammed like i was by Kaplan University and their fraudulent Financial Aid System please share your story. I enrolled in Kaplan University last year, my financial aid and student loans covered the whole cost of my education, not only that i requested extra funds just to be on the safe side. Going into my fourth semester Kaplan Claimed I owed them 875 from my first semester. They were requesting these funds be paid in full in one day.when trying to inquire about this error, not one person was i able to talk to that would tell me anything. Phone calls were not returned nor was emails. That school is in complete chaos and still recruiting more and more students without even caring to fix the problem. Moving along, next they booted me out the school for non attendance, (how can i attend the school when they have me logged out). They said at the end that i basically quit school and remember the 875 i said they told me i owe them. Well in this letter that price dropped to less than 200 dollars. Reminder i had more than two hundred dollars left over in my account that could have easily paid that off if thats what the issue really was. No answers, no reply no emails no phone calls. It is a nightmare for anyone trying to pursue their education. I am hoping that we suffering this problem with frauds using the system legally to attract innocent people, not for education, but for greed. Its out right wrong and this school should not be accredited or FASFA approved. With these approvals does is give innocent people the assurance we are looking for that states "this school is ok". When in all actuality they are performing the biggest scam of them all, clocking in billions of dollars per semester and more. This is outrageous, and from what i can tell just by the amount of complaints all over the web about this school is 80 percent get booted out because of financial aid issues derived by the school. The other 20 percent that coughed up the out of pocket expenses and graduated, are still looking for employment, no one is even looking at their degree. In my first semester I passed with an A in one of my classes, i was sick, working and having family issues, i was in school enough to not get logged out. The teacher told me if i just turn in the last couple of assignments i can pass. I turned in two assignments, i figured i really messed up my first semester, i was thinking i would get at least a C, they gave me an A+ for that course..Believe it or not that should have been my cue to back out of the school immediately. This school is pathetic. ENTER IT AT YOUR OWN RISK TO THOSE THINKING ABOUT ATTENDING THIS SCHOOL.
