Due to my principles, I am required to do an unbiased research on homosexuality. However, I couldn't read through a single article I found on anti-LGB arguments without cringing, because they were so bad I couldn't even consider them (that isn't usually the case, I can consider plausive arguments for instances I am against). So if each of you could tell me your single strongest argument, that would be super =)

Note: if you guys decide to have debates over your points, please keep it civilised. It's hard to take either side seriously when they can't talk for two minutes without insulting someone.

(Discord is a conversation app kind of like Skype, but better. Way better.)

I'm considering making a Discord server for the people of this section. I know, weird idea. But I don't know, I feel like it could work if people abide to a rule system of not insulting other users. (Those who don't would be banned from the server)

What do you think? If enough people vote in favour this idea, I'll update the question with a link for joining.

In the Discord server, there'd be channels for general conversations, discussions on homosexuality/bisexuality, discussions on transgenderism, discussions on nonbinarism, etc. People would be sorted into different 'factions' (e.g. Pro or con homosexuality, pro and con transgenderism, etc), and can debate those topics freely (as long as no insults are thrown).

So what do you guys think? Considering how debates so often get the better of what should be a questions and answers website, and how moderation here is non existent to stop trolling and bloody fights, I personally think this idea would work very well.

I've recently decided to visit this site again occasionally (since I have too many fond memories of here to let go. That's right, you haven't got rid of me yet), and obviously a lot must have changed. User wise.

I'm sick of petty arguments about the meaning of the word 'phobia'. I was thinking maybe we should make a new word that basically ends those arguments.

Since the prefix for hatred is miso (as in, misogynist and misandrist for instance), why not make a word such as misohomist (following the logic of miso words)?

As in, for example:

Really? That's unbelievable! - zhen de ma? [insert Chinese phrase for 'that's unbelievable!']

I mean, what have I done?!

So, I've noticed this section has been changing lately - with Clones being banned and Jessica, presumably consequently staying away; new active users in this ssectio; etc. - and I want to know the users here better (what their viewpoints are, what they're like, etc.), as I don't know about many of them as well as I wished I did.
