I'm organising a purple themed wedding blessing party for my parents and cant decide what to put on the tables? Its a low key affair and the tables are kind of small and low - with stools around (its a pub.)

So, do I put small flower arrnagements on each table? Or is that too fancy, should I put purple bud vases and single stem flowers? Any other ideas?

I'm building a tent for world book day and need a great story to tell to a group of primary children. I have a little wooden box and was thinking of telling them about a magic seed, coin or sweet found inside the box, but can't decide what else should happen? Any ideas or great stories for oral storytelling?

I am building a story tent in school to celebrate world book day and need a story i can tell to a range of children whilst sitting in my tent. I want something with props and have a great 'magic box' but can't think of a story to go with it?!

I am a teacher at a primary school in west yorkshire and we have been open all week, despite snow. What is your opinion of schools shut vs open during bad weather?

Everyone at my school thought we should have been shut because there were hardly any children there and it was really dangerous trying to get to work: just to babysit children.
