Lowest load resistor possible?
The book asks what is the minimum load resistor possible without exceeding the maximum collector current?
IC max = 1.0 A

My thinking is VCE = VCC - (IC)(RC)
RC = (VCC - VCE)/IC
I get RL = 12 ohms
Book: RL = 60 ohms.
What am I missing?
1 AnswerEngineering5 years agoWhat are the consequences of stringing a 12-string guitar as a 6-string guitar?
Does the difference in tension affect the guitar in any way? Will the neck warp? Will the truss rod need to be adjusted?
What happens later on when I want to restring the guitar as a 12-string guitar? Will the difference in (changing) tension be too much?
1 AnswerPerforming Arts1 decade agoDifferences between 7476 Dual JK Flip-Flop Chips.?
Our class is working on a lab that uses chain of a Grayhill 12-button keypad, an 74147 encoder, a 7404 inverter, two 7476 dual JK flip-flops (to store and clear the number from the keypad), a 7447 decoder, and a Common Anode 7-segment display.
Does anybody have any experience with different 7476 dual JK flip-flops working in some circuits and not in others? Example: DM7476 National Semiconductor and 7476 with no name?
Thanks for your time.
