  • Different strengths of conditioner, which ones and regarded as stronger than others?

I'm 14 days into the long process of growing a beard. And I have extremely wiry hard facial hair, I'm using conditioner and hot oils to try and soften the hair. (just started)

I'm using olive oil for the hot oils part. And a Argan Oil conditioner, will this suffice ?

  • Softening a beard? Frequency of conditioner/oil use?

    I've decided upon growing out my facial hair, I'm about 14 days in. And a problem I've always encountered is my facial hair is extremely wiry. I just began using conditioner as regularly as I can to try and soften and train the hair so I can tame it. But one thing I've not found whilst doing extensive reading is;

How often do I of a.......say a day or a week do I condition and how long should I leave it in when I do to have the intended effect?

    Additional details.

Facial hair is between 10-15mm in places

But sticks straight out of my face.

    Using conditioner containing Argan Oil

  • Looking for a dubstep/dance song?

I can think for the life of me who it's by but obviously you get these groups like Sub Focus who are dance, but have Dub elements to their songs.

The songs itself, it's steady, not slow not fast.

It's got a lot of synth in it.

There's a particular part where there's a two step beat.

    Someone singing

And a synthesiser riff playing with a pitch bend to it.

It's a popular song, not a year old yet.

And I heard it on an advert recently.

Can't remember exactly but I think it was a radio 1xtra ad??

Would appreciate any input at all

    Cheers folks

  • Anybody familiar with this German tradition?

When I was little I lived in Germany for about 7 years.

I vaguely remember at certain times of year German bakeries making little sweet bread men with white clay pipes in their mouths as part of a German festival/tradition.

Can anyone shed more light on this ?

  • What are these called and where do I find one?

I'm renovating my bathroom and we have one of those built in shelves next to the bath. It's one of the plastic, vacuum formed ones with two shelves a soap dish and a shaving mirror.

I have no idea of a proper name for them, I've tried endless lists of search terms and bathroom supplies around the UK. But to no avail, anybody know what I mean and am looking for ?

  • Coming to terms with bisexuality.?

I've known for over 8 years that I've been been bisexual, I've always liked girls as well as guys.

But although I have engaged in intimate activities with both genders I have never thought in my mind "I'm a bisexual man"

And I think that's because I've denied myself a label inside my head because I'm scared of the stigma that surrounds it which at times it's second to homophobia.

I have been with my partner (female) for 6 years. We've been engaged for four, and we have a two year old daughter.

We're so happy, and we love each other.

Now Im not unhappy in my relationship.

I have the life I always wanted but I feel like the fact no one knows I'm bisexual is something which comes to my mind a lot and I don't know what to do about it.

My missus knows and has been so supportive, she has know problem with it, which is a blessing.

My mum knows and is fine about it

And my sister (3 yrs older)

My friends ( ex friends ) on the other hand treated me differently straight away and that hurt a lot.

But another thing that scares me is hearing other people talk about people I know who have come out as bisexual or gay.

And just... The hate they express.

Makes me feel scared and hurt.

And ashamed quite frankly to be who I'am .

  • Free/funded/finance training for the employed.?

I'm trying to conduct some research to try and find out if there's any training courses e.g. Forklift, management, CNC Milling.

For people in employment, UK, I'm well aware that if your unemployed its free, or if your in a job that you can pay yourself.

I'm 24 and have been in retail for almost 9 years.

But I'm on a terribly low wage (£6500per annul).

I'm I'd really like to pursue a employment based course that could boost my chances of getting a higher paid job.

I can't go back to college as I need to provide for my fiancé & daughter.

    Many thanks

  • My boss right or wrong?

I work in a shop, of which my boss owns the building and is part of booker the suppliers.

He is forever taking pay from me if certain newspapers are not sent back, even if it wasent me.

He never informs me in writing or asks me first which the law states he should.

He also constantly threatens my job if i dont clean which i do as much as humanly possible.

I have a verbal contract of which i dont know the terms, implied terms and collective terms.

Just to provide more info, we sell alcohol and tobacco off the premises and whenever i work in the evenings, i work alone.

    Is this allowed?

  • Is my boss right or wrong?

Ive been working in a small newsagent/corner shop for almost a year now. I left a job in a high street store in the city to be closer to my fiancé for the birth of our daughter who is now 19 months old.

My boss is usually moderatly polite and cordial to me and my six colleagues, but he does have this nasty streak.

I started on a 14.5 hour contract and i cover his holidays which brings some much needed money to pay bills etc. But it was only ninety pound a week.

He has finally awarded me more hours and im now at 24.5 hours following the retirement of an older colleague.

    My question is this.

My boss always chastises me and scolds me over the cleaning of the shop.

The shop itself is small by any standard (40ft x 20ft).

Its always a regular point of conflict, with him claiming im a liar and i havent cleaned.

I must add, stating the obvious that cleaning the shop involves removing stock off shelves and cleaning with creme cleaner than placing the stock back on the shelf. This is a long process which i have to do around serving customers, as im always on my own on shift.

Last time we had a conversation about the cleaning was last week before he went on holiday for a fortnight.

    He said, and i quote.

" if you dont start to pull weight with the cleaning i will put you back down to 14.5 hours"

This upsets me a great deal as i cannot support my fiancé and daughter on the lower hours.

Is he right or wrong to come down on me so hard about this?

This is taking into account my 6 other colleagues dont clean.

  • Is it illegal to tattoo yourself and only yourself without a personal or premises license?

This is a strictly hypothetical question.

I was just wonder if it would violate any UK laws if a person were to purchase the relevant equipment and tattoo themselves, im aware that its illegal to tattoo other individuals with a personal license and a premises license following an inspection from an official council inspecting body?

    Any thoughts anyone?
