hp 4780 wont fully turn on and keeps beeping / resetting?
I have an HP 4780 printer That all of the sudden doesn't want to turn on. when you try, the HP logo comes up and it starts to boot, the there will be 3 quick beeps and it restarts. it indefinitely keeps repeating this process every 6 seconds. No error showing up on the display. I have tried resetting the power adapter many times, and pulling the cord from the back of the printer for a couple minutes, and nothing. Also when i open the printer, the ink carriage doesn't move to center location like it should. It doesn't even make a noise or movement like it is trying to. And when I try to turn it back off, pushing the button doesn't do anything unless I hold it in for over 10 seconds. then it goes black on the display, then i have to still hold i in until the led light that indicates an sd card has been inserted (even though there hasn't been on inserted) comes on, then it will power off when i let go. Any suggestions on what the problem might be, before I take this thing out side and use it for a god-damned croquet ball ??
