Does anyone know a book where the main character is considered just an ordinary person but suddenly he's like a really powerful being who goes around saving people etc and people are awestruck by him.

I don't really care if there's no romance, I just want it to be full of action and it has to be a supernatural book eg. Witches etc.

I've read Harry Potter, Pendragon, Percy Jackson, Inheritance Circle, The Secret Circle etc

Please recommend me more similar books to read. Please also include a small summary. I'd prefer if it were a series of books, like the ones above.

There was this guy who was 4-5 years older than me. We kept flirting with each other for more than half a year. He had a break-up with his long time girlfriend the previous year.

Finally we started dating. Our relationship only lasted for only almost 2 weeks.

He said he loved and all. We kissed a couple of times. He even wanted to have sex with me which I denied. I was not even 16 but close to it.

On the last day he said I love you and stuff but at night he dumped me because his ex came back. He started giving me pathetic excuses like it would have never worked out etc.

I didn't protest but that didn't mean I wasn't hurt.

I just don't understand how I should go about this. I feel absolutely numb!

I also found out later that he was trying to two-time me with my best friend. Luckily, my friend isn't like that.
