I want to buy three passes but I don't want to take just my brothers. Can my mom and cousin use the pass also?

Everyone keeps saying that water-boarding is torture, in the news, and I have no clue what it is. I have asked all the people I know who won't look at me like a doofus. None can give me a straight answer. Can anyone explain please?
