It is my significant birthday in November and I decided to take my family abroad for a week including gf's & bf's. my stepdaughter had a bf but it was rocky. I waited to the second reminder before booking, having already paid a non returnable deposit, until she told me that the bf was still on. I paid the balance and then The relationship failed. I waited until 2nd reminder from travel company for names and other details before cancelling the bf thus losing the full amount. The relationship is back on again and now she wants me to add the bf back on again.

Although it is my birthday celebration and I am paying for everything, I am being made to feel like a scrooge

It seems to me to be a bit unfair. If a woman were to raise the seat when finished, then I would recognise the compromise in the situation and lower the seat when I had finished. Strange how such things seem to be just for womens ease. Would there be any support for a "Leave the seat UP" Campaign
