So a friend/coworker is going away in a few months to be a farmer and live a simple life. I don't get it, but the thought of going into the country to raise plants and eat fish in another country for the rest of his life makes him happy.

He already has a house out there, it isn't wired with electricity and might not ever be. There is a nearby village with limited electricity available. Anything I give him has to be fairly small, as he has to take an airplane to get there and packs light. It also has to pass customs, so I don't think seeds/MREs would make it.

Rant away. Think of it as group therapy. Upper management at where I work is messing with my hours again. Despite the effort of my supervisors who told them that it didn't work before, so it won't work now. Nothing has changed since then.

I really liked my hours, too. ._.
