I know that 6(y+2) = 6y+12, but the negative sign is confusing me

who are your favorite dancers (past or present)? I'm looking for influential dancers for a project im doing this summer. People like Fred Astaire, Michael Jackson, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Mia Michaels, George Balanchine, etc. -all very different (different times, different styles, different music, etc) but all alike in that they greatly influenced the dance world . Can you think of any others please???

So I know blisters are normal in pointe shoes, but these are bad. Not only does the shoe GIVE me the blisters but, while I'm wearing them, it also pops the blisters. I soak them in epsom salt, but I need a quicker fix. In the first week of May, I have 5 shows, and 4 all-day dress rehearsals. I have 11 dances in each of these shows, and there's no way I can do it if I can't even put my shoe on- PLEASE help me!

I'm trying to use a piece of clip on youtube in a video I'm making. I know how to download into .flv files, but I need .avi files. Does anyone know of a program that downloads videos from youtube into .avi files?

This Saturday, I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding. Just recently, I cut my hair really short (it's between shoulder and chin length now). I'm not sure what to do with it. I've tried curling it, but it's too short and just puffs up. I don't have a small enough curler to do wringlets, and the straightener doesn't do much at all. I have someone coming that morning to help me, but I need suggestions. Any ideas?

I'm working on putting together an online database called "Find A Dance Studio". You can go to the site, enter your city and state, and a map will show you the dance studios nearest to you.

The problem is, it's hard for me to put a dance studio in EVERY city of EVERY state.

Now here's where you come in. There are three things you could do;

1. go to www.findadancestudio.com and search for your city/state, if there isn't a dance studio there, look at the right side of the page, where it says "Let us know"; click that. You don't have to enter your address or phone number, just send a message saying that there aren't any studio's in your city, and I will make it a priority to find at least 2.

2. Check to see if YOUR dance studio is on www.findadancestudio.com if it isn't, please click the "Let us know" link and send me a message telling me the city, and the name of your studio, or any studio's you know of that weren't on the site.

3. Answer this question giving me a list of as many dance studios (and their cities) that aren't on the website. The most studios get's a Best Answer!

my birthday is in April, so I turn 18 near the end of 12th grade, I'll be 18 1/2 when I plan on getting into college, is that too soon????

Also, I plan on attending college for 4 years; that's 18, 19, 20, 21, and I'll graduate just after I turn 22. I plan on getting degrees in business and in choreography. I will have a job dancing on a cruise ship once I turn 21. So my last year in college will only be a half year. I'll have a 6-month contract on the ship (May through October), and then go to school for 6 months (November through April). Then, once I graduate, I might do one or two more 6-month contracts. Then, I'll open a dance studio when I'm around 25?

Is this a good plan? Do you think 6 months away from college is a good idea? or should I wait until after college????

I've NEVER decorated, or helped to decorate, a "just married" car, but I've been out in charge of it for two friends of mine that are getting married; I would have no problem painting the grooms ugly (haha) car, but they've decided to use the bride's beautiful red Honda. This car recently had a tree fall on it, and she JUST got ALL the body-panels fixed, and I REALLY don't want to ruin the car. We have a red and white banner that says "Just Married!", and I want to tie cans, balloons, ribbons, ect, onto the car. I don't really want to spend any more on this, but I want something for the mirrors and other windows. I'll also be filling the whole front seat with balloons and bubble wrap, putting confettii in the sunvisors, so that it falls on them, and giving them a car wash certificate :-)

I know lots of people have asked this, and I got some good ideas from the answers they got, but I'm afraid to hurt the car. Any ideas for windows? I don''t want to buy paint or anything. I'm thinking house-hold items like shaving cream, but I've been told that that hurts the car....PLEASE HELP?!!!!
