  • Is my thyroid nodule "fast growing"?

4 years ago I had an ultrasound on my thyroid. It was enlarged but no nodules. 2 weeks ago I had another ultrasound. It's still enlarged but now there is a 2cm nodule. The doctor is going to perform a biopsy. But I'm wondering...is that considered "fast growing"?

  • Rash on baby's face...?

I went to get my one year old twin boys out of bed this morning and when I got in there I noticed one of them had thrown up and had a splotchy rash on his face (around his cheeks and nose). He's not feverish and he's being his usual playful self. Could the rash be from laying in the vomit or would both the throwing up and rash be the symptom of something else?

  • Working from home...?

I want to find a LEGITIMATE company who allows it's employees to work from home. I don't want to start my own business or do surveys for pennies all day. I know it sounds like a pipe dream...but does anyone know of anything?

  • Convertible car seats...?

I have twin boys that turning 1 in a couple of weeks. They spend a significant amount of time in 3 different cars (mine, my husbands, and grandparents...they babysit). Which means that we need SIX car seats. At their cheapest they are $45. Multiply that by six and it gets expensive. Is anyone aware of any company that gives discounts to parents of multiples or know of any company that sells them cheaper? Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Nuclear Thyroid Scan?

I found a lump on my neck about two months ago. I finally went to the doctor and she took a blood sample and sent me for an ultrasound on my thyroid. The blood work shows that I have hypothyroiditis (a.k.a. Hashimotos). The next day I went for my ultrasound and about 6 hours later the doctor's office called and said "we need you to do another test". This time a nuclear thyroid scan. When I asked why, she was very vague...just saying that the thyroid shows "enlarged". Yeah, I can feel it's enlarged. You can even see it with your naked eye. I'm wondering...is my doctor checking for cancer with this scan? I know a lot of you are going to tell me to ask my doctor. But unfortunately, my doctor is very vague and is just saying "oh, just double checking".

  • Fluid around the heart?

I am 30 1/2 weeks pregnant with twins. Today I had a sonogram (with the technician) and she thinks she saw a tiny bit of fluid around Baby A's heart. I got the "don't worry" speech and my doctor will do another sonogram on Friday and he'll check it out from there. I have been online ever since and been researching this. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, how did it turn out? Please only answer if you have personal experience. I've researched everything online but I would like a more personal answer than what I can find online. Thank you.

  • Nausea in 3rd trimester?

I am 30 weeks pregnant with twins and I woke up VERY nauseous today and have been nauseous since. I haven't had any morning sickness since the end of my first trimester. Nor have I eaten anything out of the ordinary. I know it's nothing serious. I'm just curious if anyone else has experience this.

  • Soft cervix?

I am currently 29 weeks pregnant with twins. I went to the doctor yesterday and he did a cervical exam and stated that my cervix is soft. He is a little concerned but said that he will keep a close eye on it to make sure I don't start dilating (I see him twice a week now). My questions are has this happened to anyone else? If so, how long was it before you went into labor? Does this definitely mean I will deliver early?
