Born in Aotearoa a year after WW2 began (Dad was in the first intake, memorised the eye-chart, was booted out 3 days later). Became a career teacher. Introduced to the intelligent & versatile GSDs by my bride. Filled several roles for our GSD Advisory Council (as did she until she retired in 2001).
