I have a two year old beagle with a strange problem.

A week ago I noticed he was very sensitive to pain and if you touch him he would yelp. Then last Saturday it got worse. His abdomen was tense/bloated. I though he might have flipped his stomach or something. Took him to the vet Monday got blood work and x-rays done . . . everything came back normal.

The vet thought he was just constipated. Gave me a laxative and some pain killers and send me on my way.

On Tuesday he had a bowel movement, and has continued to have them, but his pain has not gone away. While he is on the pain killer he is about 80% normal. But as soon as the pill wears off, he starts to tremble in pain again and will yelp in pain if you touch his abdomen or back.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong with my dog?

my weight. I am around 280, 6 foot and that puts me at a Daily Calorie usage of around 3000 calories or so.

How many calories is it healthy to cut to lose weight?

I have been eating around 1000-1200 for the last couple weeks and have reached a plateau.

I have heard that you should only cut about 500-600 calories on a diet. but that would put me at 2500 calories and doesn't seem like that would be very effective.

My fiance and I have been dating for 2 1/2 years and i need an idea for soem sort of hot and fun date to take her on. I live in he minneapolis area and things have been boring lately. We go downtown a lot, see movies, go for walks, etc. and it all seem old. HELP ME OUT A LITTLE BIT!!
