Ok, I have 2 kids and know what to expect for the most part. They say you never forget labor pains but it's been a while since I've had my second, so my mind isn't all that fresh as to what to expect. I know they aren't the real deal, but I've been having contractions for about a week now...not frequent or regular by any means. I'll just be sitting down, resting my cankles, and they will start up. I get up and move around to see if they intensify and get closer together, and they just stop. Anyone ever go through this and about how long before you had your baby? I know everyone is different...but at this point, I'm looking for any and all hope I can get. I'm 37 weeks like I said, I still technically have 3 weeks to go. I'm 2 cms and thin...whatever that means...I like percentages. I have a lot of pelvic and rectal pressure, and a super bad backache. I'll take any encouragement I can get at this point, so please don't kick me while I'm down by saying "it will happen when baby is ready." O do know that...no offense and I mean that in the nicest way possible. I live in South Texas and the heat coupled with being pregnant has just got the best of my bubbly attitude, so I do apologize for sounding rude!!! :) Thank you.

My husband and I have been married almost 5 years. We have 2 kids and one on the way. He is filing for divorce but he still talks to me like we are best friends. He told me he still loves me and misses me, but he isn't in love with me anymore. He's at a conference in Georgia right now...and yes, I know he's there because he works with his parents....and he wanted to have phone sex last night. He said that when he closes his eyes he knows exactly what I look like, every curve and all that. He loves me, finds me sexually attractive still and he misses just being able to hold me, all the while I am 11 weeks pregnant. Does he really want to divorce me? Or is he just trying to butter me up so when it comes time to drop the papers on me, I'll be in a good mood? What do I do? What do I think? I asked if there was anything I could do to change his mind and he said he didn't know...What am I supposed to do or even think? Any help?

My husband just started a new job, but since its considered General Labor, the company doesn't have to pay taxes. So it's like my husband is self-employed. We do have to pay taxes on his income, and I was wondering how much we had to pay on it. He makes $25.00 an hour and the hours are unknown really. Does this question make any sense? Is there a chart or something I can look at online? I've looked, but I don't guess I'm wording what I'm trying to find right. We live in Texas. Any help from anyone?? Thank you!

Does his "OUT OF NOWHERE" behavior/ feelings have to do with the PTSD? He was in the Marines for 4 years and got out this past January. He was deployed twice to Iraq and the first time he received the Purple Heart for his wounds in action. His personality changed shortly after getting out of the service, but it was a subtle change, kind of like, "Oh, this is civilian life now." It has taken a drastic turn in the past couple of months. I think he is just confused...he has told me he doesn't know what he wants, then he tells me he thinks he wants a divorce, then this morning, after our oldest sons doctors appt, he helps me load them into the truck and hugs me?? What is his deal? My life is being shredded to pieces! We have two children together and I don't want this to be over. He is the LOVE OF MY LIFE!! I have stood by him and supported him through thick and thin, I love this man like there is no tomorrow. I am so hurt...we will be married 4 years September 13. Any advice? I'm doing all I can on my part to try to save this marriage, asking advice from family and friends, speaking with our priest...he hasn't agreed to counseling, and I think that's because he will then have to admit he has a problem. I am even following through with going back to college. I start September 2nd...GO ME! I am currently staying with my mom...and I hate it! I just want my husband back. Is it related to the PTSD or is that just an excuse I am looking for to give the man that I love an easy out? I don't want to lose him!

I'm really tired of telling that I don't know how to talk dirty to him. We have phenomenal sex...but when he asks me to talk dirty, I can't seem to thing of any dirty words to say. We are exploring some new horizons, so to speak, and sex has been AMAZINGLY OUTSTANDING lately. He talks dirty to me and it turns me on, and I know if I were to reciprocate, we could probably move mountains. Any advice? And what is the deal with the altoids and giving a ********? I have researched the symptoms of it, but sometimes there are other things that aren't always on the list of sypmtoms. I have had an abnormal Pap but it has been over 3 years that it was abnormal. I was pregnant with my son and I had to have a colposcopy done. I had a grade one lesion on my cervix, and fortunately it went away! I had my 6 weeks postpartum exam and all was well, though I had to have another one in 6 months. I had one and I was given a good report. I got pregnant and I had no abnormal paps. I am due for my yearly exam and here lately, I have been real crampy, not all the time, but more than usual. I spot here and there, though today I bled for about 15 minutes and had to wear a pad. It hurts when my husband and I have sex, to the point where I am in tears sometimes. My period has been regular for the most part, but my last one only lasted for 4 days, and I am a true blue 6 day-er. Please continue below.

I am going back to school this September after a 4 year break...YAY FOR ME! I am married with 2 boys...and it's my turn to do something for myself, for me to feel good about ME! I am over half way to my Associates Degree, 38 hours, and I am majoring in Psychology. I do plan on going for my Bachelors afterwards, but was wanting to get a job in the meantime with the Degree I have waited so long to achieve. Are there any decent jobs that I can get with the degree I will be receiving next summer, or should I just go on and get my Bachelors? Not that I don't plan to...I am wanting to work and go to school. I just know that many places want someone with a Bachelors. I really want to be a Counselor, working with Adolescents, or Marriage and Family. Or even in a Mental Health Facility with Mentally Challenged individuals. So what's your input? Thank you in advance! I'm from Texas...I don't know if that would make any difference in anyone's advice

I can't seem to talk to my friends about this subject. My husband and I have been married for almost 4 years. We have 2 boys, ages 3 and 1. We currently hit our very first rough patch...and I thought I was going to go insane. Since we got over it about a week ago...I have wanted to have sex every second it seems. I guess I realized that a lot of our rough patch had to do with me being tired all the time, so tired I never wanted to be intimate. This last week sex has been great...the best we have ever had! I was just curious if you gals did anything special for your hubby/boyfriend. I really want him to know that I am still madly in love with him, even though I do tell him every single day that I am. I want to show him and I don't know what to do. Any suggestions? I'm sorry this is a personal question, but like I said, I have issues talking to my friends about sex. Mostly because my friends aren't married and don't have even a few of the same experiences I have. Thank you!

My sister in law just had her baby and she is totally stumped on a middle name. I told her she didn't necessarily need one if she can't think of one she liked but she wouldn't have anything of it. SOOO...she left it up to me to come up with some good names that would go with Marshall... Marshall _____ Smith. What do you think? Thanks for the help!

I got a really bad sunburn in early April, I didn't think we would be out in the sun as long as we were. The moisturizer I used then had a 15 SPF so I didn't use a stronger sun block. Since then my face has been really weird. The area around my nose and my cheeks, right by my nose is constantly peeling, and now the area right between my eyebrows is too. When I wash and scrub my face, the areas begin to burn, I guess from me just scrubbing the dead skin away. I am using a very mild facial cleanser and am using Pond's Dry Skin Cream as my moisturizer. What could this be? Should I see a dermatologist or will this eventually go away on its own? I'm sometimes embarassed by it...I've never had any skin trouble. Please help! Thank you!

My period is due today. I have pains right around my hips, real low. I'm a little crampy, but not like I'm about to start. If I test again and it still comes out negative, could I still be pregnant? Other than wondering if I'm pregnant, I don't really have an stress factors going on in my life that would affect my cycle. Guess I should just go on to the Doc huh? Did anyone ever take a test AFTER you were expecting your period and it was negative...just to find out you were in fact pregnant? I have 2 boys, but tests showed 3 days before my period that I was pregnant...maybe I'm not pregnant. Any insight please!!!???

I have persoanlly broken bones, and sprained limbs before, so I know what these injuries look like, in an adult. My son has been favoring his right hand, which is the one he landed on, a whole bunch. He cries when he tries to pull his undies down to go to the bathroom, and he practically refuses to use it when he is playing with his toys. He gingerly holds his cup, but with both hands. It's not bruised, visibly at least. It seems swollen, but it's not REAL swollen. I just don't know what to think. I've done the ice to help with the swelling, been giving him motrin for the pain, and that's as much as I know to do at this point. I know I am going to be told to take him to the doctor, but my husband's insurance from the job he just started won't be effective until July 1st, which is next Tuesday. And we don't have the money to pay the bills right now. Does it sound like a sprain, could it be broken? He's also unusually tired...does it have anything to do with the wrist injury? Thank you!

I don't know what's wrong with me...the only thing I can think of is that I'm depressed. I don't have anything to be depressed about though...my husband just took a great new job and I love him so very much, I have 2 beautiful little boys and I get to stay at home with them. I'm 23 years old...I shouldn't feel like this. My hair has been falling out, I could make a tupee out of the hair I just snagged out of the drain in the bathtub. My face is breaking out...what is going on here? There is a possibility that I may be pregnant. I have been feeling ''down in the dumps'' for about 3 weeks now. Since my husband just took this new job, we won't have insurance for another month. I'm sure I need to talk to a doctor, but has anyone ever gone through what I am and overcame it in their own time and in their own way? Am I just stressed out? I never go out to do anything ON MY OWN...we do things as a family, but I never really get any ME time. Do you think this is the root of my evil?? Help me!!!

I felt awful yesterday. I ran a little fever, no higher than 100.8. I had a terrible headache, still do...there aren't any allergens in my area right now, nothing out of the norm at least. No one has been sick. So anyhow, today, I've been real crampy. More on the right side of my lower abdomen than the other. My period is still about 12 days away, but me and my hubby had unprotected sex prior to me ovulating, so if I am, that's when it would have happened. I've been moody, very very moody. I just feel blah! My husband and I had a "morning quickie" before our boys woke up and it hurt pretty bad. I have two boys, and I don't remember feeling this way before which is why I think I am. I'm usually a healthy person. Has anyone else ever felt yucky and been crampy prior to finding out they were prego, knowing that they wouldn't be expecting their period for a while,and did it hurt to have sex? Sorry if I'm asking personal questions. I really want a lot of info and I really want another baby.

Then yesterday, I had the same pain on my left side...ovulating on BOTH sides??? It didn't last but an hour each time I suppose. Anyhow, I've had kind of a watery discharge...I don't ever remember having it before. It is soaking my pantyliner. Any idea what this could be?? I am married, have 2 kids, no STD's. It doesn't itch or burn. Could I be pregnant? I feel like my mind is gone...I don't remember anything like this from my 2 previous pregnancies. Any help would be appreciated!!! :)

I knew the day after that I was pregnant with my second son. My husband, brother and sister in law and I went to a water park yesterday and I refused to get on the fast water rides...like the body slides and stuff? I would get on the tube rides, because they were fairly relaxing. They couldn't understand what the deal was since I was the one that planned the trip. I didn't feel to well yesterday. I had an awful headache, my stomach felt kind of weird, and I was just BLAH feeling. When we got home yesterday, we were all in bed my 8:30! That never happens in my house. We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Around 11 or so, I felt like I had acid reflux or something, and I had it the night before as well. I didn't eat anything heavy before we went to bed. We actually had an early dinner so we could go to bed early. I have had a few cramps in my lower abdomen, my boobs feel as if they are stinging, and I'm so tired. Anyone ever experienced this so early? I would probably be 2 wks if I am.
