  • Visiting Calgary mid Jan?

    I am going to visit a friend in Calgary on Jan 15th, I'll be staying at his place for about a week and after that I will have a few more days to go elsewhere. I could either visit another city or province or stay in Calgary, any suggestions on what to do or where to go during those dates? (sightseeing might depend on the weather, wouldn't it?)

    Could anybody point out a few examples of urban development in low-middle income countries' capitals? is the model of having a central area in which commerce and offices are all together surrounded by residential neighborhoods the best? how about mixed land use instead and a Governmental District?
