I have known my boyfriend a few months but we started going out with each other around 5 weeks ago. He left his girlfriend while pregnant as apparently she was totally crazy. The baby is only a few months old and my boyfriend won't have anything to do with her. His stories seem valid. Anyways this ex girlfriend contacted me several months ago asking if we were going out. She told me all the horrible things he did etc, but since getting to know my boyfriend I see why he did those things and walked. Anyways we bumped into her on a night out, and I was very drunk, she asked if we were going out and I said kinda smugly with a smile that we were. She smashed in the face with a glass then. I was shocked and have gone to the police. My question is as much as I really like my boyfriend is it worth continuing the relationship? We have gotten a restraining order but I suppose at some stage in the future he will probably want to see his daughter even if its in years to come.Is it worth the drama so early on in our relationship, what should I do?

My ex's phone was off when I sent him a text at 11.30pm New years Eve, as text did not deliver till the next day at 1pm, does that sound like he may have been with a woman? I know its a stupid question, I'm 7mths pregnant and broken hearted.
