I think the title is quite self explanatory.

if i went into a hospital for medical treatment and i recorded it.

if a scaffolding company removes a sky dish in order to place the scaffolding round the house and then afterwards, the householder cannot get sky to work when it is reconnected. in this situation who would be to blame, the scaffolding company who shouldn't have removed the dish and did so to hurry things up and make it easier or the home-owner who possibly should have removed the dish before but was unaware that they needed to.

i was at my local walk in center a few days ago and when checking in at the front desk, the assistant asked for my the usual stuff like name, D.O.B and address, i understand why they need this but they also asked for my marital status and i had to ask what it had to do with my medial care or anything else.

the assistant couldn't answer why they needed the question and to speed things along i gave an answer.

I have installed Xubuntu 10.10 on dell optiplex GX520, i really like the OS but have struck a problem trying to get an acceptable resolution output to my monitor, currently the resolution will only go up to 1024x768 in the settings GUI. is there a way to set a higher resolution?

i know this has probably been asked a bunch of times but i am not sure where to go, i would like to ultimately get a job in IT/programming and find programming and development interesting. i learned vb.net at college and took the time to study it at home to further my knowledge but i know that vb.net is not going to get me anywhere special.

i have had a look at JAVA but it is so different and i find it quite hard to grasp, people have told me its because i have picked up too many bad habits from vb.net, where do you think i should point my study towards....

I am currently looking for some cross platform software that i can use for taking notes in college classes etc.

i am currently on a course in IT and for one of my units i need to create a computer program, the program needs to connect to a database and needs to have a GUI. i can create the program but need an idea as to what to make.

i was wondering if i could make a game to those specifications but the program does need to be of a reasonable size.

i was at work at my part time job in a fast food restaurant today talking to a fellow employee (who is female) talking about girlfriends, i said "girlfriends are too much effort".

the girl i was talking to then replied with " i cant believe you said that" and looked offended, i have been thinking about this and cannot see what caused this response and i don't to make a bad impression because i have only been working at my job for about 3 weeks.

but have no idea how to create the random percentages, can anyone please help me with this.
