  • Which country is better to live and work in as an skilled professional: List of countries and occupations in description...?

    Countries:

    USA

    Canada

    Australia

    UK

    Germany

    Japan

    Sweden

    UAE

    Switzerland

    Singapore

    Turkey

    Hong Kong

    Brazil

    Russia

    China

    South Korea

    Argentina

    South Africa

    India

    Skillful professional fields:

    Materials Science/Engineering

    Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering

    Biomedical Engineering

    Mechanical Engineering

    Computer Science

What I found was that all the countries I listed desire at least 2-3 of the career fields on the list and that each country has a need for engineers, IT professionals, and scientists and have plenty of opportunities. I plan on obtaining up to a Master's Degree of PhD before I move out somewhere and gaining 5 or more years work experience in one of these fields.

Also before you mention this, I know moving to another country is very hard and sometimes impossible unless you meet certain criteria (having a lot of money, highly skilled and needed position, have no crime record, etc.) And you could also tell me which cities of those countries need the professions I listed as I love major cities, if there are any countries I missed, mention them in your answer

Answer with true facts instead of opinion, or saying it's impossible to move to this country or that country, I get it, look at my other questions if you plan on saying moving to another state or country is impossible, thank you

  • New England vs Northwest?

I've lived in MA my whole life, but I also love travelling and researching places I've never been too. However, the thing is I'd rather variety in my life than keep the same old cycle, unless I'm satisfied with it, that's why I looked into WA and OR, I also love big cities like Boston, Seattle, and Portland, OR

    Pros:

    Both regions:

    -Close to Canada

-Both have a mix of cities and forests/wilderness

    -Right on the ocean

-Good educational options (especially UW and MIT for examples)

-Cities have nice architecture, are clean, have int'l airports, all largest cities have metro systems

    -Exceptionally Beautiful Weather

-Not many hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc.

-Both include centers of technology and pop culture

-Lower crime rates than most of the country

    -Both have major sports centers/arenas

    New England:

-More familiar (since I live in MA)

    -More history

-Has some of the best colleges on Earth

-More states (6 instead of 3)

-Closer to more major cities such as NYC, philadelphia, DC, etc

-Newbury Comics (for those of you who don't know, it's one of the best pop culture stores you will go to, guaranteed, but it's only exclusive to new england, but still worth it)

-MA students rank #1 in the country

    Northwest:

    -Cheaper than New England

    -Less taxes

    -Newer part of the country

    -New experiences since less familiar

-Portland and Seattle (I freaking love these cities)

-Mostly Seattle (and its futuristic architecture)

-More relaxed pace than New England

    -They actually have volcanoes

-Cities are more spread out (which means more wildlife included)

    -Less polluted than New England

    -Microsoft and REI started here

    -But mostly Seattle :D

  • How tall do you think I could get?

Since last month I started this workout and diet that includes milk, walking outside, stretching, lots of water, fruits, vegetables, tangy tangerine, getting between 6-8 hours of sleep, etc. and grew from 5'9 1/2" to 5'11"

My mom is 5'2 1/2" and my dad is 6'2 1/2", how tall do you think I will possibly get by ages 18-21?

  • Which websites are the best for finding jobs abroad?

I was thinking after I get my BSc and phD in Chemical Engineering and gain 5 or more years of experience in that field, I was thinking of moving outside the country. Which websites can help me jobs abroad? List as many as you can.

  • Which countries in Europe still need Chemical Engineers?

Just curious, which countries still have job openings for chemical engineering?

Let's say I had 5 years experience with both a BSc and phD in chemical engineering (no master's)

I knew the local language of whichever country I go to

Other immigration stuff (passports, money, embassies, naturalization periods, work visas, etc.)

All I want to know is which European countries are best for Chemical Engineers to find jobs in and what chance I have of finding one there?

  • Can getting a phD make getting a job in the UK easier?

Let's say I apply for a job in the UK only having a bachelor's degree and phD (in chemical engineering, if you're asking) and what if I had 5 years of working experience. Would just a BS and phD be enough or would I also need a master's degree for it?

Remember, I know what to expect from immigration processes in other countries (paperwork, embassies, finding a job, getting the correct visas, languages, choosing the right career, etc. I you still don't think I know, look at other previous questions, and the answers I've gotten that include the very topic of European, Canadian, Australian, or any country's immigration process).

  • What chance would I have at immigrating to the UK?

After I get my Bachelor's Degree in the US, I'll then get my Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering in the UK. Plus, Chemical Engineering is on the UK Skills shortage list.

So with a mixture of studying and work+living while trying to make the UK my permanent home, what are my chances of living in the UK, how many years would it take for me to naturalize, and what visas do I need in order to do so?

  • Which am I better off working as? Help me plz?

Read the whole description before answering plz:

I want to become an animator since I can draw my own ocs very well, I also want to become an architect since I can draw buildings well and give them many neat designs too, I've also considered becoming an engineer (electronics, chemical, or civil) since they all seem very interesting to me too, I also love science and math.

I know I should choose what I want, and I'm NOT doing it for money either, but here's the thing I've always wanted to live abroad but I also want a career that can allow me to find work in another country. I'm pretty sure I might have a chance with architecture or engineering abroad, but I'm not sure about animation. I would love to be an animator but what I can't find a job in animation abroad.

FYI: I do not want to stay in the US, in fact, I want to the Americas (both North and South) No offence but I'm just getting sick of living here, I want to travel the world and live somewhere else when I'm older.

  • Questions about the crime rate in Brazil....?

What is the crime rate in a small town or vicinity town of a city compared with the crime rate of an actual city like Sao Paulo?

And what are the safest cities in Brazil?

  • Just curious about Brazil...?

Why is Brazil the 2nd most ethnically diverse country in the world yet they have lots of crime and poverty? How is the economy booming over there? Are education and healthcare good or failing over there (how are they both structured)? Are poverty and crime really common in Brazil? Is Brazil in reality a safe place to live (which parts are safest)?

What's the real truth behind all this stuff in Brazil?

  • Is Argentina a good place to be an animator?

I want to become an animator and work in another country. Plus, I thought Argentina would be easier than Canada and Australia since there's no skilled occupation list, and visa laws aren't so tough.

Can Americans actually find jobs in Argentina as animators?
