I've had braces for exactly two years now. I'm suppose to have an evaluation to get them off next week and then actually get them off two weeks after if all goes well. My teeth were perfectly straight and they even gave me finishing elastics to perfect my bite. However, I've just noticed that one of my back brackets is loose on my bottom teeth! And I'm so scared that it'll push back my date to get them off! My senior portraits are in three weeks! What should I do?! I called them orthodontist and she said to just wait until my next appointment but I'm really scared it'll push back my date to get them off... Im starting to see a small gap in my front teeth that were never there before also?

My scalp has been itching a lot these past weeks. I thought it could be lice, I had my mom check but she could not find anything. I've had lice before if that helps. I also have had a really itchy neck (huge rash, red spots) and sometimes I itch behind my ears, shoulders, collar bone, lower neck. I went to my doctor, he said it was an allergic reaction to something (I don't know what), they check and said I didn't have lice and gave me a cream. That was all last week. A week later (now), the rash is all gone on my neck but my neck still itches. I found a black bug on my forehead after a shower, and I panicked and checked for lice again with a lice comb and I cannot find anything! I've used Head & Shoulders and other anti itching shampoo and none works. My brother scratches his head a lot too.. I slept on my sister's and parent's bed a lot and they don't seem to have any itching or symptoms! Could this be just an allergic reaction? I have a doctor app on Thurs so I'll ask about this.

I'm almost sixteen. I have a lymph node behind my ear (both sides, but one decreased in size), I've been getting fevers that come and go, and I recently (like couple of minutes ago) noticed that I'm sweating, also my neck and scalp itch with small red bumps. I can even feel lymph nodes on my neck, they're mobile. I'm extremely scared, I went to the hospital last night and all my doctor said was that I had scabies, which I think is very unlikely. I'll be going back tomorrow though. Please help, what could it be?

I'm planning to try out for my high school cheerleading team because a lot of people say that I'd be a great cheerleader because I'm almost always happy and optimistic, so I looked into it and I really wanna make the team. I have no experience though, I can barely do push ups and touch my toes, and I know cheerleaders are really flexible. I would most likely be a flyer since I'm small. Any tips for how to get flexible, or tips for the actual try out? And any tips for the flyer position would be nice, try outs are in summer. I'm a really determined person, so I'll do whatever it takes. Thanks!

I got my braces two weeks ago. I've seen some videos about people getting a gap between their teeth during their expirience with braces. I was wondering if that happens to everyone or just certain people? My teeth are straight, just one crooked tooth on the top near my front teeth, and I have a cross bite..but that's it..what are the chances I'll have one?

I'm dying my hair Brown Black #20 of Revlon Colorsilk Permanent Dye. My hair right now is a bleached brown-blonde. When the black dye fades, what color will my hair be?

I've dyed and bleached my hair a lot within these few years and right now it's currently a brown-blonde ombré. I'm getting sick of it and I want to dye it back to my natural hair color, which is a very dark brown or a brownish black. Last time I did this, it turned completely jet black and it was awful. Any tips on how to get it to dye dark without it turning jet black? I am going to use Revlon Colorsilk because that is what I always use when I can't afford to dye my hair at a salon. (I would go to the salon but I'm on a budget.) Any tips will help! Thanks!

I have two crooked teeth on the top set. I'm getting both top and bottom braces because I also have an overbite. I have to get braces for 18 months. My orthodontist told me that I will have to use rubber bands also. I was wondering what's the process before they apply braces onto my teeth? How do they apply it? Will it hurt while they apply it and after? Will my lips look bigger? Will I sound like I have a lisp? Are cleaning your teeth with braces tough? And lastly, I LOVE eating, lol, so what foods can I eat and not eat? Thank you!

I failed two classes freshman year and I will make up those two classes summer school or next school year. But if I get straight A's sophomore, junior, and senior year along with AP classes and do tons of extra curricular activities, will I still be able to get into a four year college? If not, my second plan is to go to a two year college then move to a four year college, would that be possible?

Is it true that guys hardly friend zone girls? Even if they're really close and like best friends?

I got no sleep whatsoever. I tried and tried and tried to go to sleep, but I ended up laying in my bed for a few hours and thinking about my life and other things. It is now almost 6am. How do I stay up throughout the school day? Should I sleep in class? It's the first day back from winter break, so hopefully if I do choose to sleep in class, the teachers won't get too mad. And is there anyway I can get my sleeping schedule back? I also have gym class today, any tips for that?

Well, I broke my phone and T-Mobile ordered me a new one. It says it'll be here on Monday because they do not ship on Saturdays. Is there a way that I can change the delivery options so it can come to my house on Saturday? I think you have to pay extra money, but that's okay.

I have this red bump below the right side of my lip. It's been a few days and it hasn't gone away. It isn't a pimple, if it were, I'd know. It doesn't itch or burn or hurt. It's just there, I don't know what it is. I've had this problem once or twice already on the left side. Any ideas? It's just a small but extremely noticable red bump. When I pick at it, which I try not to, it feels like a scab sort of?

A while back, I decided to pop a pimple without a head that was below my lips. It got really red, which was usual for me after I pop pimples, I thought it would go away in a day or two, but it didn't. It became a scab and knowing myself, I kept picking and peeling it, gross I know, but everytime I pick it, the skin peels off, then it starts a new cycle again. It turns into a yellowish, possibly greenish color. So I pick at that, then the same thing happens over and over again. It happened about four times. My mother told me to stop picking it and it'll go away. Well, it's been eight days and no luck. I've decided to leave it alone and put some anti biotics on it. What could this be? How do I get rid of it? Should I go to the doctors? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!

I've had this pimple for about two or three days. It's right below my bottom lips. I've tried popping, but only a few clear liquids came out. It doesn't have a head, at least not yet, and it's painful if I'm try popping it, I think I made it worst... I've tried toothpaste, putting ice on it, and hot compresses on it. But nothing works. I just want to at least reduce the size of it before my pictures tomorrow. How do I make it less noticable? How do I get rid of it?

Today, I found out that I had a pimple forming on my nose. It's most likely going to be a whitehead by the looks of it. It's basically a big red bump right now and I have school tomorrow. How do I get rid of it, or at least swell it down? How do I prevent pimples on my nose? Should I pop it (it doesn't look ready to pop, and the fact that it's on my nose, it hurts a lot)?

My hair is naturally a dark brownish black, I've dyed it many times within these past few months. Yesterday, I dyed my hair from medium brown to dark brown, but the dark brown dye made my hair turn black! I went to the salon to get it fixed and dyed into a dark brown, but they didn't get the job fixed, it looks black still. I just wanna fade it out, not strip or bleach. Since it isn't pure black dye (both of the dyes were brown), will it fade a little bit faster? What kinds of shampoo should I use? Any help would be lovely! Thanks.
