  • Audio Hum in new build.?

There is an audio hum in a new build that wasn't present in other computer. You can't hear it at low volume and it doesn't over power the music but at high volume with no music playing you can hear it well. My audio is run through my home stereo receiver as it was on my other machine. The hum is obviously a ground problem or at least I think it is but it has to be in my new computer. It has on-board VIA 8 channel audio. What could it be? Anyone know?

  • If you have a user name other than administrator but the user name has admin privleges.?

Okay, You don't want to use administrator for your user name because of security reasons. So if you have a user name that has admin rights is that just as bad. Should you create a different user as limited or power user separate from other user with admin priv.

  • My data map hits are at 100% Is that bad? What should I do. I'm running XP Pro, on ASUS M4N78 Pro board AMD?

If that is bad then what can I do to correct it. My computer is running fine but When I was monitoring my resources it never moved off of 100% I noticed also that I would still get some page faults though greatly reduced after tweaking my Virtual memory. And I am getting system cash faults as well. No many but a few. Any suggestions? My MBO is an AM 2 ASUS M4N78 Pro Nvidia chip set 8300 graphics 250Mg's with Athlon 64 x 2 5600 + and I have 4gigs of Kingston DDR2 6400 Hyper X Dual channel clk 4 Hard drive SATA 3 750 Gb 7200 rpm One more thing, My board during boot has a message on the boot screen that says type 4 to start or enter ACC. That might not be the exact words but close enough. What is ACC? My manual says nothing about it.
