  • Seeds sprouted too early how do I save them?

I was saving zucchini seeds for planting next spring. They apparently weren't completely dried out when I stored them and I just found them sprouting and molding in the container. Is there anything I can do to save them?

  • Feeling like I'm falling asleep when I'm wide awake?

In the last week or so I've been getting strange sensations in my left ear. I'm finding it hard to explain the sensation. It's a bit like a ringing in my ear only it's not a sound I'm hearing and when it starts it causes a breif moment of feeling dazed or like I just fell asleep for a moment and woke up. It happens very fast. It is over in about 2 seconds and then I blink like "what was that?" I'm not falling asleep and don't need to jerk my head back up or anything like that. It sometimes feels like a flash then my brain freezes a moment then starts again. I only feel something in my left ear though, it's weird. It started as just a few times a day, now it's happening every 15 min or so and getting really annoying.

I'm being treated for mild anxiety and depression but am not currently taking any meds. I don't have trouble sleeping and get between 6-7 hours a night.

I'm seeing a doctor in a few days so I don't need answers like "go to the doctor" I just would like to know if anyone has had this happen to them before and if they know what it is or what it's related to.

    Thanks

  • What do I need in order to take my dog to Canada from Washington?

I'm planning a trip to Canada from Washington state and I want to make sure I won't have troubles crossing the boarder into Canada and then back into Washington. I'm going by car. Do I need to show a license? Vaccination Records? Do they even ask? Who should I ask? Would the vet know or do I need to call some unknown department in Washington?

  • Symptoms of what condition?

I have a family member who has been acting very strangely and won't go see a doctor about it or even admit that she is acting different. I wondered if anyone could help me with possible causes for her symptoms or know of a website where I can plug in symptoms and get possible conditions. She is in her late 40s. She lost 40 pounds or so very quickly but her weight has stabilized. Her personality and behavior seem permanently affected.

    Symptoms:

    Sleeps very little

    Poor judgment

Short memory (she used to have excellent memory)

Much shorter temper than normal, yells and screams at small things

Has distanced herself from family members emotionally and spends little time with family.

Suspicious, thinking everything is about or because of her (fear of people talking about her behind her back ect.)

I'm concerned she could be in a lot of trouble.

    Thanks for any help.

  • Is there a condition for these symptoms?

I have a family member who has been acting very strangely and won't go see a doctor about it or even admit that she is acting different. I wondered if anyone could help me with possible causes for her symptoms or know of a website where I can plug in symptoms and get possible conditions. I don't know if this person is on drugs, I suspect weight loss pills but she will have been off them for a while. She lost 40 pounds or so very quickly but her weight has stabilized but her personality and behavior seem permanently affected.

She is in her 40s, possibly pre-menopausal. I don't know if she suffers from any physical pain or malady because she's never been one to show weakness (that hasn't seemed to change) So I don't know if she has headaches or vision problems or things like that. Most family members have already alienated themselves from her because they confronted her about her change in behavior. They got their heads bitten off. Before I get into that I'd like to have some solid medical reason I think she is behaving differently. I'm concerned she could be in a lot of trouble.

    Thanks for any help.

  • What's the title of that movie with a dead guy...?

The guy dies of a heart attack when he finds out he won the lottery but no one finds his body for several days. When the people come to give him his winnings a neighbor pretends to be him to collect the money because no one thinks he has any relatives. He convinces the town to help him saying he'll share the money with everyone. But in the end a woman reveals her son is the son of the dead guy, and only living heir, but she won't try to claim his inheritance and lets the town have it. I can't think of the name of this movie, please help!

  • Is it normal to be sore after an 11 mile hike?

My boyfriend and I went on a day hike to Jefferson Park (Oregon, USA) It is a gradual uphill climb for about 5.5 miles. We got to the top in about 2.5 hours, not bad time, enjoyed ourselves by the lake then hiked down in about 1.75 hours, also not bad time. I was very sore the next day, couldn't move a muscle without some pain (until I doped up on aspirin) and my knees and ankle joints had sharp pain, but my boyfriend wasn't sore at all except he said his knee "hurt a little." We do all our hikes together and I am usually sore afterward but he is never sore. It's not an age thing either, because I'm 14 years younger than him. It's always been normal for me to be sore after most hikes (especially ones that involve up hill) but I've been doing them as regularly as my boyfriend in the last 2 years. I wouldn't say I'm in that bad of shape because I can do an 11 mile bike ride with no problem and I do that 1 or 2 times a week. Should I go see a doctor? It just seems silly to me to go see a doctor since I've always thought being sore after a hike was normal.

  • Poll: is one of your breasts larger than the other?

I keep hearing it's common for women to have one smaller and one larger breast. Is this true for you? And if so, how dramatic is the difference?
